Had a very lovely stay at the Lemon Tree in Malta. We chose this location because we were attending a wedding in Zabbar, and it was close to the Parrish. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the staff are kind and provide great service. The neighborhood is quiet, but you’re not far from the three cities or Valletta (by ferry). There’s enough nearby to walk to, such as a bakery, a few restaurants, and even a Pastizzeria. We opted to use Bolts (taxis) instead of the buses, but never paid more than ten euros for a Bolt ride. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the Lemon Tree again!

Lovely and quiet place, perfectly placed just far enough outside the city to be nice and quiet! Friendly staff who were always welcoming and helpful! Lovely breakfast and garden area! As cat people le we really enjoyed the regular visiting cats in the garden ❤️

We enjoyed our time at Lemon Tree Relais. The room was cozy and well-equipped. A special thanks to our hostess Claire, whom made us feel very welcome! The breakfast also needs a mention: made to order and did not disappoint (like all of the Maltese food).

The hotel is lovely - only a small number of rooms but the rooms are really well equipped and very comfortable. In the room they provide lots of amenities like shower gel and shampoo. There is also an honesty bar in the room which is a really nice touch.
The host is very friendly and can not do enough to help you. Communication is very easy and no stress at all. Little detail includes she made us a sandwich as our check out was very early and we were going to miss breakfast.

We just returned from a lovely week at the lemon tree. We chose the lemon tree for our family to stay in during our wedding week & took the whole place. Have absolutely no regrets on choosing the lemon tree. Beautiful little place - peaceful, authentic, fab pool, delicious breakfast, great location, unique rooms. It was exactly what we were looking for & didn’t disappoint in the slightest. Birgit & Clare took great care of us.

I liked it very much. Clean rooms. Quiet sleeping. Good breakfest. Sun terrace with swimming pool. Nice local village. Good connection to Tree Cities and Marsaxlox. Nice personnel. Easy to find. Shop nearby.

Nice little hotel with 6 double rooms. Beautiful and very clean rooms, all individually furnished. Our oasis of peace on the vibrant island of Malta. Every morning we enjoyed our lovingly prepared breakfast in the courtyard. Pool hours 24/7!!! Only 3 Minutes walk to the Busstation Newl. Many thanks to Claire and her team. We had very nice experience in the end of september. We booked all the rooms for our big family and it was the best option for everybody. Everyone had enough space but we could get together in lovely breakfast room, courtyard and around pool. Breakfast was tasty and we had chance to try also Maltese special breakfast.
The location was perfect for us because the most important thing for us was to find a villa where a large family would feel comfortable and where it was possible to quickly get to Valletta and other important cities in Malta. We used Bolt and eCabs taxis for transportation. Very convenient, fast and affordable.
Each room was special. Elegant, tasteful, yet historical.
We will definitely come back, thanks to the kind hosts!

The hotel is nice, it has a particular style like rustic but cozy.
Is very quiet and relaxing and has a nice pool on the backyard.
The staff was nice and the breakfast was good also.
The problems were:
1) No plugs in in the bathroom which is super important.
2)The towels drops lint on your body so every time you feel like cotton on you body.
3)The soap and the shampoo of the room were super bad and it seems you are not clean at all after the shower.
4) No windows in the bedroom, so switch the A/C is mandatory.
5) No water included you need to pay every time that you are going to open a bottle.
6) The location is super far away of the good parts of the island and is quiet nasty.
7)No supermarkets or good places to go for dinner near to the hotel.
8)The shower has a huge pressure and the drain is not enough so every time you are taking a shower you need to pay attention because you are going to flood the bathroom and the bedroom as well.
In summary price/quality this is not a good option. I won't come back.
