As soon as we arrived on Friday we were warmly welcomed by Roberto, who gave our daughter a balloon and a packet of twistees. We were celebrating her 6th birthday the day after, and with a little gesture, this made her day even brighter. Roberto spoke with us as if we had been long time friends and this is our first time (since we visit a lot of local hotels) we were made to feel so much comfortable and welcomed from the minute we stepped into the hotel.
Our check-in was made by Sabir, a calm soul who made the check-in seamless and whenever we had a question or needed help, he was always there to help.
And last but not least, big thank you to Mable from the restaurant who definitely has an eye for detail. She realised that my daughter had her birthday and with just eye contact with me, she coordinated a cake with candle and came singing Happy Birthday during breakfast. Apart from that, she gladly took some time to speak to us and held a conversation, even though she was busy.
Amazed with the heartfelt customer service especially the attention they give to children. We also spoke to Natalia during breakfast, how gentle to talk to and a lady from the kitchen, gave a high five to my daughter when she passed by us before walking back inside.
Small gestures with a lot of meaning to us!
Yes the food was great and the room (which we were surprisingly upgraded ) was wonderful, but what really made this stay more special than all the other hotels we stayed in, were the great staff we met. I hope the higher management keeps investing in them 🙏

The downside is that you have to ask for everything. Bathrobes are not provided in the room — you have to request them. The same goes for slippers; they are not in the room either. Drinking water was provided only upon arrival and was not replenished during my 7-day stay.
The breakfast is poor and exactly the same every day. Most rooms face neighboring buildings — essentially, the view from the window is straight into another window. The furniture needs restoration.
On the last night at 3 a.m., the fire alarm went off, and of course my sleep was completely disrupted.
The only positive aspects were the daily housekeeping and the location.
