Great historical family run hotel. Was greeted at the door by Timothy, he proceeded to give me the history of the establishment. Gave me some good tips for eating and made me feel welcome! I stayed in the st. Georges suit and had a fantastic breakfast with freshly baked bread with ham and cheese the next day.

All recommendations for the hotel. It is located in a quiet area, yet it is easy to reach all parts of Malta and visit the sights. Special thanks for Timothy — an educated, courteous gentleman who is always ready to help. It is a real pleasure to talk with him and listen to his advice about sightseeing. I would certainly stay at this hotel again the next time I come.

This is not a “Boutique Hotel “ it’s a family home with rooms , dreadfully impersonal, very expensive and hugely misrepresented and misleading. I was looking forward to a nice hotel and not €148 for one night for a room in airB&B . No staff, very steep, narrow and hazardous stairs to carry your suitcases up.

1. No lift for 2nd floor units, narrow stairs to carry heavy luggage.
2. Too narrow doors to move freely in and out of rooms
3. First two nights Airconditioning was controlled by the owner and it was put to off or not working, suffered in heat after heated email/text , they switched it ON.
4. Breakfast has very specific timings per room , need to visit only in that 30 min window for breakfast.
5. Near to Airport, and near by general shops and bustop.

I will not recommend this place to anyone, nor will I revisit this place.

I had terrible time trying to get some sleep without functioning airconditioner and attitude of property owners claiming its that way to support global warming situation !

This is a very beautiful hotel. It is not very big, but every part of the hotel is full of exquisite artistry. It is very carefully and professionally designed. The whole hotel has a scene at every step, quiet and peaceful, full of exotic atmosphere.
The hotel is very clean and the cleaning is also very diligent. The hotel facilities are complete, making people feel at home, safe and calm.
The hotel service is carefully carried out under professional management. All aspects are considered very well, very warm and thoughtful, and the response is also very quick. The travel guide provided is professional and authentic, and the personal test is very good.
The hotel is located in a very peaceful neighborhood, not far from the most lively area, not far from the most lively area, and is not only very exotic, but also very safe. The churches are densely distributed between the blocks, plain and harmonious. Every wall that appears in front of you seems to be printed with creeds, constantly telling passers-by. Living in such an environment for a few days is a kind of enjoyment compared with the usual complicated pace. Characterful, in quiet part of Malta, mostly avoiding the tourist hordes. Owners are very friendly and welcoming with travel tips and advice.
Maltese bakery within 100yds is great for breakfast takeaway Maltese style ie large portion, lots of sugar. Breakfast apple pie is a must try if you're not worried about calories.
Local eateries are mostly limited to pizza, and burger styles. Couple of excellent Maltese sandwich takeaway cafes will provide excellent value for money salads and sandwiches with local ftira bread. And nearby grocery stores are handy for bottled water etc.
If you want more variety, Valletta is 15-20 minutes by Uber. For 3 or more people Uber or similar is around same price as the bus.
We liked the relaxed atmosphere after spending the day sightseeing and mostly ate out in Valletta.
Malta does have some power fluctuations which dropped out the WiFi for a couple of evenings and also meant no TV.

I stayed at this hotel for the last 2 nights of a 16-day holiday in Sicily and Malta. The historical ambience, the guest care and attention shown by Management and the quality of fittings and fixtures which contribute so much to a hotel stay were all excellent and greatly appreciated! I can unreservedly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to explore Malta and enjoy its diverse culture. And if you do not want to enjoy the culture you can sunbathe and enjoy a hot tub on the roof-top sundeck! Superlative accommodation - what a pleasure!
