From start to finish we had a wonderful holiday at Palazzo Violetta. We booked direct and got an excellent deal and the suite with terrace was perfect. A large newly refurbished room, south facing with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the occasional January sunshine. Excellent walk-in shower too. The location of the hotel could not have been more perfect, 10 minutes from Sliema waterfront and also Baluta Bay, 21/22 bus just round the corner to Valetta. As second time visitors to Malta we wanted to stay in an authentic area but be close to the shops, restaurants and buses. Last but not least the staff were all very kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. The hotel ticked all of the boxes for us, we would highly recommend and definitely book again.

Room was spacious and clean. Perfectly adequate, just missing that boutique feel. A little dated but well kept.
Staff were all great. Courteous, attentive and friendly.
Location was great for us. Only 10 minutes walk from both Sliema waterfront and Balluta Bay so nice and quiet, but has a mini market and bar within a couple of minutes walk too. However, if you want to be right in the action then this maybe isn't for you.

A nice, clean hotel close to the bus stop. Towels and slippers in the rooms. Tea and coffee for free. Good breakfast.
P.s. Do not confuse with Villa Violetta on the opposite side of the road.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Every detail felt perfect, making the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This is not a 4 stars hotel, but a small guesthouse. Room in smelly basement, noise between room, loud music until 23pm every night. Straff not serviceminded at all. Very dissapointed.

Great location close to sea front, but far enough away to be peaceful. Excellent rooms, suites have sofas and kitchenettes and lovely bathrooms. Food and drinks served in room or at the pool and breakfast is lovely.

Staff at the hotel were lovely, very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was very nice but could be even better with a little more attention to detail. The room smelt a little musty as did the towels and breakfast area. This is easily improved and would make the hotel a lovely find.

The staff are excellent. All very professional and they go above and beyond. The hotel is on a quiet street you are assured of a decent nights sleep. Good memory foam mattress and pillows. It’s only about a 10/15 minute walk down to the promenade where you can access buses and ferries to Valletta.

Convenient for Valetta Ferry.
There was no complimentary water in room.
This hotel has no welcoming ambience.
It has an exterior that is pleasing but no warmth.
Expensive for what it is.
The area is very touristy, Branded shops M&S and Zara, very busy. Good spot for the Valetta ferry.
