The room was clean and very spacious. We had no issues! The hotel is in a fab place to explore with a lot of amenities near by. I would definitely recommend Intercontinental and would defo be staying here again
Sopo, at breakfast ensured we had what we needed and Mina was fast to offer her assistance! Pradeep would make sure we were satisfied with our food and always took care to tell us what was where
Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Stay – Thanks to Katerina and the Team After a terrible experience at another hotel, we were relieved the moment we walked into the Intercontinental St
Julian’s, thanks to the incredible service provided by Katerina. Katerina went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were not only comfortable but truly happy during our stay
First time in Malta and not just a great location to explore from but an amazing hotel stay too! From the moment we stepped in the, the staff were always pleasant and always helpful
Katerina’s attention to detail and warm hospitality made a massive impression, not just on me and my wife but also on our children

A heartfelt birthday card was followed by a surprise visit from staff with roses, an ice bucket with glasses, a birthday cake, and multilingual birthday wishes – a fantastic display of hospitality! Breakfast, a lavish buffet with a variety of options, was a highlight
It is supposed to be a five star hotel, unfortunately it is showing signs of fatigue. The tiles in the bath room are chipped and has become hard to clean as a result
This hotel is in a tremendous location for visiting Valletta. Hotel itself is good, with comfortable rooms and beds. The pool area is excellent, with a large pool and also access to swim in the sea
However, service remains good and the breakfast offers a good choice. There is a small private beach which allows bathing in the sea with fish swimming around you, which was very pleasant
The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite had a combined bath and shower and quality toiletries. Breakfast was very good with a wide hot and cold choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful
The balcony was directly facing the small harbour where coincidentally some yachts were preparing for the Rolex Middle Sea race (please see photos). Many of the crews were also, not surprisingly, staying at the hotel

The lobby bar closed at 9 so if you went for dinner you were stuck. Pool towels were not available at the pool but you had to traipse back down 6 floors to Reception to get them, then back up 6 floors to the pool
The hotel was full but still the room cleaner gave us crazy flexibility, the barman at the pool was always with a huge smile, the manager allowed us after checking out to spend the entire day in the pool, and then let us a last minute spare room to take a shower prior the departure
The facilities of the hotel are exactly as they offer, a stunning rooftop pool, a varied free buffet, spacious, clean and modern rooms, and even quite expensive shampoos! But what they have not indicated is how dedicated and professional their staff is
Really lovely hotel, beds are comfy, pool is beautiful (but very limited sun beds so make sure you get in early) and reception staff were all really nice
The swimming pool is big and kept well plenty of loungers…The hotel is in a great location near the nightlife but also near quieter parts if ur not into that I like both so suited me perfect…The both times I stayed I had no problem sleeping if I wanted an early night I could not hear any outside noise and I stay in two different parts of the hotel…looking at goin to Malta again this year and if I decide...
I love this place. Best hotel in Saint Julian’s. Lovely staff. Big rooms. Great rooftop pool with bar. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We normally do smaller, more local hotels. But we wanted to do something special at the end of a wedding trip. We did three days after our wedding to have a bit of glam, and it was worth it
My husband and I chose this hotel because we trusted Marriott’s reputation, but our stay was shockingly bad. While the view was decent, the hotel itself felt outdated. The worst part was the service
Dining options were plenty and also very close to shops, bars and amenities. A special mention to all the housekeeping staff who kept our room spotless during our stay
The Indian front desk staff treated us (Asian guests) with cold indifference, yet minutes later, smiled warmly at white guests. We booked an ocean-view room but were given a garden view instead
Stayed with handicapped Mom, Hotel gave us best room with perfect view, provided a wheelchair and took excellent service. Nice pool area snd gym. The best value for the money in the area — totally recommend!!!
Must explore the whole Dragonara at your own risk of course as it's the Big Sea, you also can just go snorkeling safely around the Maltese Ghemmuna Artillery battery, which became the Scicluna Family Palace after the Banking Reset of 1873 Greta Staff starting with Upama at the Green exotic stone desk, then was guided to my cozy room by Duty Manager Sandra who explained the hotel history and facilities...

Excellent location and lovely rooftop pool. Abundant and varied breakfast selection
Special mention to Ms Kyra at reception who went and beyond to ensure our room was provided to us as early as possible in view of the long flight
They don’t just provide service — they anticipate your needs and fulfill even the smallest wishes with a smile. The hotel itself is packed with amenities and perfectly caters to a wide range of travelers
Details were handled with thoughtfulness: a welcome note with wine and water, intuitive lighting, warm staff, and an overall spatial clarity that never felt chaotic, even in common areas
My stay at the Marriott Spa & Resort Malta exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely exceptional
The culinary experience is top-notch, and the desserts? Pure poetry. Each bite feels like it’s crafted with passion and expertise. Dining here is truly a highlight of the entire stay

This Hotel is well located. Front Desk & room services are amazing. Good choice of Breakfast buffet. Different type of restaurants inside the hotel. Indoor pool, spa is fully equipped. I must give this hotel 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality toiletries to the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and a welcome treat. Overall, Hilton Malta exceeded my expectations in every way
I recently stayed at Hilton Malta and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home
The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the view from the room was breathtaking, especially overlooking the stunning Mediterranean Sea
The check-in process was quick and efficient, and every team member I encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to assist

Beautiful grounds with great pools. Very clean rooms and a great balcony with sea views. We even received an upgrade on site. Breakfast was very varied. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Airport reachable within 20 minutes.
The excellent location on the bank of bay is handy for walking and visit important places and restaurants. Upholstery, furnishings in room, little tiring, would need up-gradation to enhance the joy of stay, further
It's very nice place to stay. Recommend 100%
We had a lovely large suite with ample storage and two bathrooms! We even had a choice of 2 balconies and a large roof terrace! Outdoor pool was a little nippy!! Hardly surprising in November 🤣🤣 Malta is stunning!!
Great facilities and restaurants. But few restaurants were closed and the outdoor pools were cold
Everything is awesome. But it is little bit difficult to go by public transport. Nearest bus stop is just two line, 14 and 120. Apart from this point we have a great experience.

Absolutely wonderful hotel in a great location. just spent 7 fantastic days here. Lovely clean rooms with an amazing sea view. Food excellent, the variety of food was great, suitable for all tastes
All staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, especially one member of staff who sadly we didn't get his name but he made the best Brain teaser cocktails and he always made time to come over and chat to us
The spa closed just after we arrived so unable to comment on the facilities If you go with children visit the splash park about 15 mins ride away - excellent value for money
Everything was great. Location, breakfast, indoor pool, gym. We can warmly recommend We had dinner at skybar. Very good food. Breakfast was greate
We have just returned from a one week holiday, we were a little nervous regarding building works but we’re not affected by this at all
Rooms clean and spacious Staff friendly and helpful Great location with fab pool bar just across the road Only downside was being all inclusive and having to sign for food/drinks and show room card every time you wanted something

Breakfast was very simple but fresh ingredients. It is simple and good, but it does not correspond to a four-star hotel.
The rooftop swimming pool is a great place to relax. It offers commanding views of the city.
Everything ok we found newly renovated and new rooms
You can directly see the sea, very convenient, there are many restaurants around, the facilities are a bit old, a bit noisy at night. Overall it is very good
Interesting location, spacious place. I would return without a doubt
The staff tried hard to please but the hotel is not 4 star as advertised. The curtains were broken and had been broken for a while allowing the sun in. The airconditioning was noisy and not very efficient

Only one small thing that didn't work well was the kettle in my room, the lid must have been damaged as it wouldn't stay closed, if you boiled it you had to weigh it down with something or it would boil forever, it wasn't a huge issue though, I just used it a few times
Steam room functioning but there’s an damp/mouldy smell in there. Rooftop pool area also lovely with a nice sea view. Wasn’t a big fan of the breakfast though so docked a point
I stayed for 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. The room was very spacious and clean. I had breakfast each morning and was impressed with the amount of food on offer. The fresh fruit and fresh bread were excellent
I appreciated they had soya and almond milk, so I could have a nice coffee each morning too
The little gift shop inside the hotel was also handy and had some nice things. Staff were all friendly and overall this was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for a while
Whether it was offering assistance with my luggage, providing local recommendations, or promptly addressing any requests we had, their professionalism and friendliness made me feel truly valued as a guest

The hotel doesn't include a complimentary swimming pool. Access to the neighboring hotel's pool costs €20 per day per room, which may disappoint guests not wanting beach swimming
It ensured that our time indoors was comfortable and relaxing. Outstanding Staff The staff truly stood out for their warm and welcoming demeanor
The hotel is located in the heart of Saint Julies city center, adjacent to bars and nightclubs. Loud music plays until 3am every night
It was so great to stay here, tasty breakfasts, especially pastries and juices 😋 3 min from the bus station, great soundproofing in the rooms, workspace in the room, and soo lovely service
However, the food variety remained completely unchanged every single day. For the last two days, the pancake machine malfunctioned, making the already monotonous selection even more limited
Hotel service: Staff are warm-hearted and patiently assist guests with requests – highly commendable! Hotel breakfast: Since this was a family trip, we chose the 7-day breakfast package

The only thing I would say is the TV needed to be a bit more updated in terms of apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The rooftop with the outdoor pool is really beautiful and the views are breathtaking
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. We bought the day pass for the pool which was perfect for experiencing the pool and bridging the gap before our flight. Would definitely come back to stay here!
Absolutely enjoyed our stay between 5 and 7th Jan this year. A big thank you to Shirajul Islam who helped us a lot during our stay. The best ever and the friendliest staff and service, very clean room, great facilities
The Temptasian restaurant was not quite the atmosphere described - food was good but they seated us at a table right near the kitchen without good ventilation and made it feel like a sauna then a restaurant
This hotel and its staff, have made this such an incredible experience that we cannot wait to rush back again and again for years to come. Thank you to all the staff for everything, keep up the amazing work!

We had room service too, portions were huge and tasted amazing! The spa was the cherry on top! The heated pool, sauna, steam room… all brilliant and a wonderful way to relax after a long day exploring! The Decor is beautiful ! Would most definitely come back again soon! Thank you to all the staff!! Extra thank you to Mateo who helped us with the ferry info to go to the Blue Lagoon!
The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early
It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large, could fit 3 people
The service however? Outstanding! Cannot thank the staff enough for the warm welcomes, excellent service and kindness especially to Kristian, Njambe and Marie who we met in the pool and then became our group tour host
They also took my water bottle and I felt like I should be able to bring my water to what I thought was the hotel pool. The spa was a little weird in terms of service
All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta like a local. We will be definitely be coming back again

Very well connected by bus from and to airport, great location on the shore of the sea in Sliema. Hotel has a inside pool and also on the top floor outside swimming pool on the roof
Breakfast was great, lot of choices and all the time full of food, coffee from the automatic machine, plenty places to sit , never felt to overcrowded
The hotel was a hit, thanks to the recommendation. It is in a good location for using public transport and visiting the nearby attractions on foot
Keep it in consideration while choosing the room. My purpose was just to sleep here, I'm not a type of enjoying my room and staying in the hotel
Very good choice for hotel to spent few nights to discover whole Malta and Gozo island

Didn't use the rooftop terrace or pool so can't comment on that, but for £50 a night with breakfast included I can't have any complaints! You get what you pay for and for that price I wouldn't expect 4 or 5 star luxury and nor should anyone else! Overall a decent well run hotel
I think at the time the hotel was classed as a four star but it was two at best. Did have a indoor pool and jacuzzi in 2017 which were good. Even a small gym inside which was decent to train in
Swimming pool was a bit small but there was another on the roof top which I didn't use due to weather. The gym room was staffed and equipment OK
It was a just a few meters to the main sea road where buses run and as it was in a side street it was nice a quiet. The room was big with a kettle to make coffee and tea. The TV had many English stations
Nice big bathroom and a small balcony to sit out on to relax. It was nice and clean and the lady who cleaned was so friendly. I had such a lovely time I would go back there any time and look forward to
Great Hotel, Great staff, Great location. The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good with a good variety

I spent a lot of time by the swimming pools, which were beautiful and never too crowded. They had a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, and the surrounding area was well-kept and peaceful
Nice hotel, which was spotlessly clean, with good facilities and pool .
Staff was helpful everyone had a smile on their faces they provided free shuttles to Valletta and Sliema, and helped with managing our airport transfers - checking and checking out was easy straightforward, they allowed us into our suite as soon as we arrived even though check in was supposed to be at 3pm
A Perfect Stay at Urban Valley Resort, Malta! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Urban Valley Resort in Malta, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was nothing short of exceptional
Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room we stayed in was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean

Overall, this hotel offers a great experience, especially for its location, views, and attentive service. If the noise insulation and breakfast variety were improved, it would be perfect!
Enjoyed a few days stay here at the Mercure. Just a street back from the busy food stalls and restaurants of Julian’s Bay

The hotel is located in the Slieme district. There are nearby many options from food to clothing with a shopping center. It is on the seaside and it gets busy and crowded at night
Welcoming hotel bar on the first floor (also part of Hammett's Monastik restaurant) with comfortable seats, a sunny balcony and a stunning view of Valetta's citadel
Wonderful hotel on a great location. Spacious rooms, well stocked with coffee, tea and chilled water. There are additional waterpoints at certain floors

Very convenient hotel, near many restaurants and bars. Room is not too big but clean, modern and has everything you need. Nice breakfast, bit noisy though
The breakfast was fabulous, great choice and a great service, very attentive polite staff and it was really lovely to see the hotel manager come round to speak to guests at their table to ensure they were happy with their stay

Great hotel! The bad reviews of this hotel is mainly based on the cheap 4-star sister hotel. At the 5-star hotel, we stayed in the luxurious spa bedrooms with private pool. ❤️
Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.
Very nice if a little older hotel. Room we had was very spacious with two double beds and bath and shower. It was a "wellness room" and had a infra red sitting in box in the corner
Sleima and itis next to sea front
Nice hotel, superb view at Valetta acros the boulevard and harbour from seaside rooms. Lobby quite small and a bit outdated. Shopping mall 'The Point' around the corner with supermarket at the -1 level
