Lulu Boutique Hotel

We stayed in Lulu Boutique during our latest visit to Malta, from the moment we walked through the front door we were welcomed to first rate hospitality. Unlike the formal greetings provided by the majority of boutique hotels, the welcome here was genuine and warm. It was clear that the property was a labour of love for the owners, the deco was perfect and the outside area by the pool was so relaxing. The room we stayed in was picture perfect. I cant recommend Lulu Boutique enough, we were sad to leave and look forward to returning very soon. Thank you to the Lulu team for making our stay so memorable.

By far the best experience I've had with any Hotel! The hotel itself is super charming and exactly what you'd want out of a cosy boutique hotel, yet it feels classy with tasteful furnishing blending with perfectly with the classic Maltese architecture, it's an absolutely gorgeous looking hotel.

The hospitality from the owners though, oh man, an absolute stellar 10/10! The complimentary welcome drinks, the breakfast (which is made to order); you can tell these people are seriously passionate about their business and making your stay the best it can be. We had an unfortunate issue with the jacuzzi in our room, by the sound of it the previous guests had accidentally turned off the automated heating or messed with the temperature somehow which we only found out when it was too late (and we didn't want to press anyone to come fix it in the middle of the night), so we left it for the morning hoping the heating might turn on again, it didn't then either of course. Worry not though, in swoops the 10/10 hospitality from the staff, first offering a second night for free with the issue resolved since we didn't get to utilize the jacuzzi we paid for fully the first night, but because we couldn't stay another night, they instead just charged us the standard room rate (without jacuzzi) at check-out. There was no arguing about this, heck we didn't even suggest it, it was an amazing stay anyways and the jacuzzi did work as intended the first half of the stay so we would have been more than happy with the stay anyways - but I couldn't not mention it from the perspective of how kind of a gesture it was.

I'm not at all shocked every other review is just raving about this place, we'll absolutely be coming back here!

Lulu Boutique Hotel is family owned by Liudmila and Clive who are wonderful hosts, making us feel very welcome.
Both interior and exterior have a wonderful atmosphere, beautiful details and green plants. The courtyard/ patio is delightful with a lot of plants and a small pool.

Everything are high quality, cleaning is good and breakfast delicious.
We went as 3 gens (age 7-75) and all of us had a wonderful stay.

The renovated 300 year old building was impeccably decorated and inviting. It was easy to navigate as it was pretty small, but that gave it an appealing cozy feel. The lobby/ pool area was small which provided the perfect opportunity to meet fellow travellers in a warm environment. The room was unique and demonstrated a fine attention to detail. The hosts provided 5 star service with a boutique hotel feel. Truly a personalized experience. They provided complimentary breakfast and water which a plus when traveling in Europe. The breakfast was delicious with several options to choose from. The local neighborhood/area is quiet and charming. There is a square nearby with restaurants and cafes.

This is an outstanding boutique hotel! We have travelled the world but the moment we walked through the door we knew this place & owners are special! Everything is designed by love & passion, the breakfast was absolutely yummy, healthy and nothing we asked was too much! The rooms, the pool area - even the elevator - every little detail shows the love put into. We highly, highly recommend this beautiful treasure and wishing Ludmilla & Clive happy years to come after creating this magic!
