Staff was awesome very respectful and kind. Great location many restaurants and stores, and the Cathedral are in walking distance. The only downside is the WIFI it wouldn’t connect

The hotel was conveniently located and among the best priced in the downtown area. We obtained an upgraded spacious room with king beds when our room was not ready upon arrival. The shower water was hot.

Traveler Friendly people good buffet breakfast for $7. The walls and windows are thin so you hear noises outside but did not bother me much. Needs some fixing which looks like they started to do on the 7th floor

Hotel Santiago de Compostela is an incredible place to stay in Guadalajara. The location is absolutely perfect — close to the city center, making it easy to walk to major attractions, restaurants, and cultural sites

I was on a business trip there and chose this hotel in the city center. The location was great. The hotel building was very old and had no exterior windows, only interior windows, which is typical for the city.

The location is quite convenient, right in the center of the ancient city, other aspects are quite ordinary, the room area is not large, the facilities are average

Although location was really great , the noise from nightclub was insane. Couldn't sleep well though...

Overall, the hotel is really nice and located in a convenient area. The only issue I had was that my room's door lock did not work properly, and I had to go to the front desk a few times

I asked to send maintenance twice, no one ever showed up. Skip the breakfast if possible. It has a lot of potential to be honest. Also check in times between 15 and 18h are not really business like

This hotel is not located exactly in the center but is a short walk away. The room we got was calm, comfortable, and had AC. The hotel is next to a supermarket and a pharmacy, you can also find good restaurants around

It has internet and a smart TV where you can use Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, and even open a browser. There is air conditioning and hot water. The place is also very beautiful and clean

Great value I stay at this hotel one night per month for doctor's appointment in the area. The hotel is excellent for the price and location with great service and a nice pool lounge.

We had two different rooms over 3 nights - the first was old and unrenovated and cheaper - the second was a recent renovation and quite nice, bigger bed, better TV, etc. Prices reasonable, particularly for that area

Situated in Centro Guadalajara, steps away from the bus station, walmart, convenience stores, banks, car rental, and bars. The hotel also has Wi-Fi and cable TV. Staff are friendly and accomodating

Great place for sleeping. Great, only complaint i havenis yhe key was deactivated daily, so when i got jn at night, i had to have it reactivated.

In a really good area sites wise, easy to get around and look at everything. The woman running the hostel is awesome, and there's a map of the best dites to help you make sure you see everything

However, the place itself is pretty simple and there's no privacy. It's clean, but uncomfortable, and I couldn't shower. Really go only if your looking for somewhere to crash imo

Atmosphere was great, wonderful music and wine. Rooms are simple, elegant, cozy. Our king size bed was super comfortable. Very centrally located near downtown where the cathedral is located

Street is quiet and if you want a late night snack, there are 2 taco huts just a few feet away. Wonderful breakfast place across the street with great coffee selections. I highly recommend this hotel

This wasour second time at this hotel, and we are very pleased with the service/comfort of the room and all the amenities, including a steam room, pool Jacuzzi and a cute little Nespresso machine. It’s an absolute gem!

Property needs attention and better employees. They are rude and the rooms need help. Bed light stayed on, shower head broke, water everywhere. Jacuzzi water is yellow still not fixed. That’s an easy fix but nobody cares

We stayed in room 3 located on the first floor of the hotel and this was our experience. I would say decoration was cute and I liked the tall ceilings. It made you feel like you were in a hacienda

Pros -Excellent location: Walking distance to many of the bars and restaurants in La Colonia Americana. Most places are within a 10 min walk. You get the best of both worlds

We stayed in Room 6 on the second floor, the room was large, clean, and comfortable and we spent the evening in the kitchen at the end of the balcony next to the quiet terrace

I spent two weeks here and had a great time. The design of the room is lovely and the surrounding neighbourhood is full of cool bars and cafes.

The woman responsible for room maintenance couldn't have been nicer (she watched our 4-month old while we got our things from the car)

This was a great hostal to stay in with our medium-sized dog as there was a large outdoor space on the upper terrace with a nice sitting area and lots of plants. The room itself was simple, clean, and comfortable

The location is PRIME and next to nearby parks, restaurants, downtown - you name it. The price isn't bad either given that you have access to a full kitchen and somewhere to relax other than sitting in your room

The hostess Mariana is pretty bilingual in Spanish and English and was able to help me communicate with the owner of the place in which I currently live

My Russian girlfriend, her cat, and I arrived in GDL after living in San Felipe, Baja California for six months

Took a week of hotel bouncing and we eventually ended up staying at this Casa Canario for four nights! It's a nice hostel with a fully equipped kitchen, pleasant sitting area next to the kitchen AND in the foyer, and the rooms are surprisingly cool despite the GDL heat

The only two downsides were relatively minor and entirely incidental. The lower room we had initially secured had some ants, so we were moved to a room without ants. Easy fix and they sprayed for the ants in the meantime
