This is on the Michelin guide however unfortunately I felt that the service didn't live up to the expectations of something that would be on the Michelin guide.
The breakfast options were lacking especially for somebody with a gluten intolerance none of the staff seem to have an awareness of what this was offered me a beer 🥲 and bread.
Anyway it was okay and comfortable and the room was big and the bed was comfortable and it was fairly quiet

Great staff at front desk, restaurant, main entrance, and housekeeping. Great venue, very good breakfast, we liked the room very much. Unfortunately connecting rooms are not well isolated. In room 104 there is a gap of about an inch and a half in the door adjacent with room 103. We could hear TV and conversations of room 103 loud and clear.
We could also hear the TV of room 105, not very loud but we did not enjoy it. I had to use earplugs to sleep. In our previous stay we did not have this problem in rooms 201 & 202.
The rest was great this time.

Great high end curated experience!
We had a great staying at Hotel Pena Pobre. All the staff, the lobby, restaurant, rooms, among others are very friendly, supportive and willing to help at any time. All the team had a very welcoming and friendly attitude.
The hotel is greatly curated with a high end atmosphere.
There is not better place to enjoy Mexico City and its surrounding.
Highly recommended.
