Hotel Sofia in Puebla

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They promptly answered any enquiries. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel's simple style is very relaxing. The inclusive breakfast was mostly fruit and bread however there are many options a la carte. The view from the breakfast terrace was great. Overall a relaxing, pleasant environment in a fabulous location.

I have travelled a lot and I have owned my own bed and breakfast. The friendliness of the check in staff was truly outstanding.

The rooms were clean. Professional and courteous staff. The hotel needs an update but is comfortable and clean. Very safe and convenient to downtown area.

We loved our room at Hotel Sofia. It was good sized, had a table and chair, somewhere to place luggage and a hutch with a place to hang your clothes along with several drawers. There was a nice flat screen TV and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very large. The lady who cleaned our room was delightful and did an excellent job.

I had two issues. The first was that I had to leave my ID at the front desk in order to be given the air conditioner remote. They will give you the two remotes for the TV, but not the air conditioner.

The second issue was that two of the three ladies working upstairs on the roof terrace would bring us the menu and from that point on I had get up and go to the bar to order food, drinks, etc. and then go back for anything else we wanted. They never came to ask if we needed anything else. The one was busy on her phone the whole time, and the other had earphones on and was listening to her music the whole time. This was mainly at night. The third lady that worked the morning shift did a nice job.
