Boutique by the Museo in Merida

Wonderful stay in a beautiful city. Staff were so thoughtful and kind, service and attention to detail rivals anywhere. Stayed with my wife and two kids (both under 10yo). Location is perfect for exploring Merida. Got lots of help connecting with tours by a great provider. Started each day with a delicious breakfast and got great recommendations for dinners. Will hope to come back again soon!

Staying at Boutique by the Museo was one of the highlights of our trip to Merida. The space was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the service was outstanding. Boutique and the cafe next door are run by a lovely family, and their care and attention shines through in every detail. The host and staff were extremely welcoming to our son and made sure we had everything needed for a baby. The location is near everything but very quiet with no street noise. I travel a lot, and it is truly a special place. I would definitely recommend for individuals, couples or families visiting Merida!

Absolutely fantastic! The hotel is an oasis of tranquility in the beautiful city of Mérida. Service is of an exceptional high level. The view from the penthouse suite is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and the pool is great! We spent 3 lovely nights at this place.

The Boutique hotel is stunning. It's such a lovely environment overall, from the piano in the lobby to the indoor-outdoor feel and the incredible pool. I had the most magical moment with a friend, literally playing in the water in a rainstorm. Core memories made here! I highly recommend Boutique by the Museo for your first (and every!) stay in Mérida.

Boutique by the Museo offers an utterly gorgeous, charming stay for anyone looking to stay in Mérida. In particular, the courtyard, pool area, and surrounding lounge spaces truly make this hotel a small paradise for travelers. The staff is very helpful and always greets with a smile. Great breakfast offerings, as well!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely hotel last week, everything was perfect for our family. We were a group of six, 3 adults 3 kids. We booked the grand boutique suite & were upgraded to the Penthouse! It became like home to us, not just our excellent room but also the over the top service we received from the staff. Erick was ready to help with anything from arranging our breakfast time (often 5:15am due to our early morning excursions), having our towels ready for the morning (cenote swimming), calling in our delivery dinner order & bringing it to our room, coming back later to pick up the garbage, making sure we had mangoes in the room for our youngest granddaughter (she’s still talking about the mango pastry she had at the owners restaurant Pan & Koffee where we were invited to eat on the mornings we were able to eat at normal breakfast time- everything was SO DELICIOUS!!! Our breakfasts at Pan and Koffee were the highlight of our mornings when we were able to eat there). Erick even walked with my husband the first night to get waters because it was raining & we had no idea where to go. He truly went above & beyond to make sure we had anything & everything we needed. After that they stocked our fridge with waters as per our request. The kids loved the pool, my husband loved the private terrace, & I loved everything about our vast room and how when we left in the mornings & came back in the evenings the room was so orderly compared to the tornado my group left it in, LOL! Two blocks away is a gastronomical street to warm any foodies belly, one block is the Main Street. I highly recommend the Boutique by the Museo, we miss it already!

In the second half of my time at Merida, I moved to the Boutique by the Museo, my fourth stay there. This hotel is exactly as I remembered: gorgeous, clean, comfortable and quiet. Great breakfasts with impeccable presentation. Everything is homemade including the breads and pastries. The staff is wonderful: responsive and accommodating with a genuine desire to please. Hot water, powerful A/C in every room of the suite and dedicated modem for a super strong Wi-Fi signal. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. What a great experience!

We had an exceptional stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the property is thoughtfully designed, a real pleasure to stay here. Special shout out for the staff and the owner Sunita, a wonderfully warm host.

The hotel is located in one of the nicest areas of Merida. surrounded by well maintained colonial mansions you find yourself in the heard of the city. Since the hotel is in the second row of the main boulevard, it is suprisingly quite. Returning from the busy city you will get the feeling of entering an oasis of peace. The design of the hotel reminds of an modern colonial mansion. Well designed into detail. The quadrangle in the middle of the hotel got a beautiful pool and has several spots to just relax. The room was nice and clean and had a very comfy bed. One of my favorite highligts was the delicious bread they served for breakfast from their own backery next door. Sunita and the staff took great care advising on day trips, making dinner reservations etc. They know Merida and surrounding very well and there recommendations where highly apreciated. Thanks to you guys we had a super great time in Merida. Thank you! looking forward to come back!

This is our second stay here and The Boutique is outstanding. The hotel is pristine and absolutely beautiful. It is a quiet oasis in the heart of the city. The employees are very friendly and the service is wonderful. We enjoyed going to Pan and Koffee every morning which is right next door. I did not want to leave and I cannot wait to return.
