A nice, affordable place for an overnight stay. The administrator was very kind and helpful — he even offered me tea from his own supplies. Highly recommended!

2 years ago, I rented a bed from Tapok Hostel for a 1-week vacation, but due to the Ukrainian War, a state of emergency was declared in Moldova. I had to cancel my reservation. You refunded the amount I paid without any penalty!
To repay my debt of loyalty, March 15th and stayed for 1 week. Really hospitable people. The hostel is very clean, well-maintained and quiet.
Thank you again for hosting me, I would definitely recommend this hostel to all friends who are coming for a tourist trip!
Unfortunately, I had trouble entering through customs because the hostel will not accept online reservations as of 2024. I had a hard time convincing the passport officer that I was not a refugee :)
By the way, the hostel is down the street from the Turkish Embassy..

The hostel is very good. A handyman lives there and cleans every day. That's why it's always cozy and clean. There are always fresh towels. The main thing is that those who got drunk at least once and came to bed in the morning are kicked out. I RECOMMEND THIS EXCELLENT HOSTEL TO EVERYONE.

Its a nice hostel with cozy yard and good design concept. I really apreciated the location. Helpful and kind staff. showers are well equipment and clean. they have enough toilets and bathrooms which is usually uncommon in hostels. They help refugees from Ucraine, so I met a lot of them there and discovered shoked stories. Definitely recommended for people who are looking a good vibes hostel.

The hostel itself has a bit of humidity, ants in the kitchen, not so much isolation (hot n cold)but that's not bothering for such a little price moreover because of the disposition of the rooms quite interesting to socialise, and the location super convenient.
However the receptionist, Jérôme, not so polite (I would even say rude) breaks a bit the charm of the hostel. I think he might have an authority issue, especially with youngsters. I recommend to not exchange so much with him, and to ask him directly the rules of the hostel when checking in, to avoid any inconvenient situation.

I loved this hostel. I have nothing negative to say. Its very clean, small, amazing kitchen, spacious rooms with comfy beds and curtains. The staff are extremely helpful and nice. Location is 10/10. My parnter and I stayed here on and off for two weeks, we kept coming back. The hostel vibe is very cool and the right place to meet new people. We recommend this hostel and we cant wait to return ourselves.

We loved it! Veal stakes were nice and fresh. Sauces could be with more flavor... Chocolate cake for dessert was delicious! We had a bottle of wine for 2 of us.... Moldovan wine is wonderful ..
