Gold Lion Hotel in Chisinau

A terrible place to stay even for 1 night. After a call on the morning the price was set to 30$/day, which was raised to 40$/day (which is a 33% raise) when we arrived at around 2am without other options to stay. The first impression is terrible. The door lock was almost broken and the room itself was small and dirty. After we left our belongings in the room and locked it, the lock broke, and we were unable to unlock it. When we called a staff member to help us, she just said that we should "try by ourselves, and use a lighter" in a very rude manner (as there was no inner light sources between rooms) after we finally was able to ask here to try to open it, she failed as well). We received another room for the night, but there was no light in it as well, only in the toilet (where there was no water at all, for the whole stay). In the morning even the wi-fi was turned off, and the personal was not friendly to help us to resolve the issue of our belongings locked in a room (even blaming us about it, but the lock eas almost broken when we arrived)

As a result, we flew from that place as soon as possible, and enev the MacDonald in the city was more pleasurable place to stay than that. This is totally not woth a price for that place, as even 5-10$/day may be a bit high

I've book room for 2 nights but i didn't stay there a any of 2 nights i book. The room was terible. I Don't Know did they clean the room because the was cobleb on the wall and stains everywhere and there was blood on the bed . I was scared because the was blood . Other gustes ware suprised . They have UV - lamp and we point the stains and it was *****. We immediately leave.

Very dirty stinking place.....nasty people at the reception......room was not available for the price we agreed at reservation but a lot more expensive.....do not go there if you like to stay clean.......no service at all....lots of thinks do not work

This is a terrible place, we paid 700 lei per night, but it’s not even worth 400, everything is dirty, the floors and carpets are dirty, the walls too, the bed is already ate, besides, the towels are also dirty, and there is no lid on the toilet, I don’t understand this the place is no longer closed, it’s just terrible 😧

We nearly got scammed, dont go this place they will change the place from in 2 seconds and they were agresive.

Found a crocodile under the sheets. A freakin' crocodile. It didn't have teeth so I wasn't in any real danger...
Also, they provide towels that were used as shower curtains in a nearby mental asylum's reception toilet

Very dirty rooms and poor staff. Bad conditions

The hotel we chose and the hotel we got!
Noisy neighbors, no restaurant, no cafe around, far from the center, broken shower, no bathrobes and shampoo.
WiFi is not working.
We spent a horrible night.
Don't choose this place.
