Great 4 star hotel in the heart of the capital. Apparently it’s been refurbished recently and I can tell you that it looks gorgeous! They’ve got a lovely lobby and an entry level bar (limited in spirits). Spacious rooms with decent views, very lovely showers. Good looking reception and lovely staff. The room is comfortable, the bathroom products - shampoo, paper, Bathrobe, towels, everything. enough. No sauna, gym, a small room for one person. Breakfast is delicious, there is a choice.

Very good service, spacious rooms with modern facilities and everything you need. Nice staff and breakfast. Sometimes you can hear the neighbours a bit since the walls are quite thin, but this was generally not a problem.

The spa has a nice atmosphere and the staff were polite, but unfortunately the experience was affected by a lack of proper ventilation in the sauna. It became very difficult to breathe comfortably after a short time, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the session fully. Not a hotel, but a facility like a rental room. There is no front desk. Housekeeping is provided approximately once every three days. There is no laundry service. On the other hand, the rooms are spacious and the furnishings are of good quality.

The hotel is 1.3 km from main center (15-20min walking) in a quiet area, close to different embassyes. The rooms are clean and larger than usual. It offers slippers and bathrobe which is not usual for a 3* hotel. The towels are changed daily. There are enough options for breakfast. Staff were absolutely lovely, and let me check in very early and even arranged a taxi to the airport the next morning (which is about 100 lei for anyone wondering), and they were very happy and polite with good English skills. All in all, a very nice hotel with very reasonable prices in a very good location.

This place once being the top soviet hotel is now old and shabby, and that's the reason I liked to stay there: For the truly soviet experience! Everything may look old but nothing is broken. AC works, beds were very comfortable, room was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Though don't expect too much from the breakfast as it is very basic and served cold. Enjoyed my stay alot.

Rooms were okay for sleeping. Pick this hotel if you want to have a real Soviet experience. Also the reception were amazing! They called us a taxi for a local winery and even called again to get the tour earlier in order for us to be able to make our train!

If you come from the West and are curious about how Soviet hotels felt like, this is the place. And it doesn't mean it's bad; it just ain't the Radisson! The rooms are clean, the linen of good quality cotton, the breakfast is very good if you know what to choose or ask for and the staff is the kindest and most helpful you could dream of. The location is great. And finally, it is dirt cheap!

I only stayed here for one night but I truly enjoyed the experience. The facilities are great for a 3-star hotel. The room was spacious, clean and very well equiped. Building need major updates..My room was large but starting from door locks, bathroom, carpets all need updates.There was no blanket in my room I have asked to receptionist but they probably not understand what was I asking about? Need update and fix the bathroom shower was tricky ; hot water coming after 10-15 minutes and no pressure in the morning??..

Staff were very helpful and courteous at all times. Free tea, coffee and biscuits were always available. Although it is not close to the centre it is close to bus routes taking you there.

One thing this hotel has that many don't is easy access to electrical outlets. It's clean, professional staff and includes breakfast for a very reasonable price. Bathrooms are huge too.

No slippers, no water heater or coffemachine in the room, no microwave, thin walls, TV with glitches. Yet has a very basic level of comfort and good location. Good enough to stay for a night or two.

Flat with the advantages of hotel reception and assistance. Near station but fair way to centre. Washing machine and good shower to keep all clean. Balcony for smokers (not me). Organised a lady to take keys and book me an economy taxi to the bus station on the weekend. Appreciate that. Highly recommended.

Amazing breakfast! Everything was homemade, unique, delicious and we looked forward to it. Great location, just a 15 min walk from downtown. Helpful staff-even found us converters because we forgot ours. Heater was in the bathroom which we didn't discover till the 2nd night so were a bit cold the first one but overall a great place to stay.

On booking the hotel was presented as 4⭐️. In reality it turned out to be 3.... It's a huge plus that you can take your pet with you 🐕‍🦺. There is no refrigerator in the room; there was a decent amount of leakage from the shower stall to the toilet. We arrived on the weekend, the windows were open and you could hear music from the neighboring restaurant until one in the morning.. Otherwise it was fine...

We stayed at the Edem Hotel as it was fairly centrally located, not too far from the zoo and also within walking distance to main roads and a number of shopping centres. Very good value The staff were amazing 10/10 the first two nights were super quiet you wouldn't believe your in a city. Unfortunately there was no hot water for 3 nights I did raise it but it wasn't fixed, I sat by the pool but it wasn't that enjoyable as kids were shouting and throwing a ball into the furniture. also there are no blinds or curtains so you wake up when the sun's out

When I arrived they had no knowledge of my reservation and said they don’t work with ******* any more and don’t know why they’re still listed. Nice, Cozy, Good Location. Perfect place for a short layover in Chisinau. Grocery store and restaurants are right there, and the trolley bus to the airport has a station right across the street. Rooms are nice and very clean but very small. I will return when I have another layover in Chisinau.

Very nice, clean and cozy accomodation in the heart of Chisinau, close to restaurants, parks and the city center. They also have conference rooms of different sizes and parking. The staff was nice and helpful with giving us directions of what we can visit, where to eat, and also helped us book a day trip to the local vineyards. I definitely recommend it to tourists and also businessmen.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Small hotel situated near the market and city centre. The rooms are comfortable with a small bathroom. The breakfast is basic but good with enough quantity. We were there in June so could sit comfortably at the outside bar. Reception staff were helpful with arranging taxis and providing advice on the city.

The location was good for us. They have parking spots right outside and are monitored by CCTV 24/7. Rooms are clean and spaceous enough. They do need a bit of a remodel. Views are horrible, especially to the back of the building. If courtains aren't used other people may freely look in your room. Breakfast is nice. There is a terrace outside.

A nice hotel, very close to the center of the town. Not so large room, but very clean. There was no problem with parking. A silent location, we really slept very well. For our purpose was perfect!

Stayed here ,room OK, not too far to walk to the centre of town or to the market, the restaurant in the evening was OK, but I found that the menu does not serve everything that is says on the menu. Breakfast well, choice limited, service slow and trying to get coffee or tea ,well hope you are prepared to wait, because you certainly will. Check in is only after 2pm ,which I don't get and reception...

Visited almost month ago, well maintained hotel, clean rooms, comfy beds, very friendly and helpful staff on reception. I just didn't like the breakfast that much, there was just one person from staff that was too busy, we needed to wait longer for coffee that was not even good, food was ok but sometimes cold, sometimes missing. But overall price is very reasonable, location very good.

The building obviously dated from the old Soviet age and it was quite a nostalgic experience to stay there.

The only positive side about the hotel is its location and that wife works well. Other than that it’s just a typical Soviet hotel. Everything is outdated, old and dirty, ac doesn’t work, not tea, no coffee in rooms, no drinkable water in rooms. If it was a two star hotel it would have make sense, but not 4.

Soviet built hotel. You know what to expect. Outdated rooms, curtains that fail to cover the window and are too thin to block light, pretty hard beds and 'interesting' lifts that are strangely shaped and move rather rapidly. All in all a great experience from another time. Quiet rooms and a Top location. Worth staying at if you can get at a cheap price.

Inclusion of a microwave was nice. Constant emergency vehicle noise, sirens between eight and ten minutes apart. It's getting there.

We booked the hotel a couple of days in advance and paid via the app. As a result, when we arrived, we were offered 1 double bed, although the voucher indicated 2. Great price! The door lock does need some oil though ;) Manager is adorable, I wish I could speak russian. ☺️ Ps. They offer a free safe parking! This is a budget hotel, so you get a descent room for what you pay. Haters might hate, but I was very happy! Plan ear buds, room doors don't insulate from the corridor chatter at night.

Although it is only a short distance from the city center, the design of the clean rooms and the friendly Turkish-speaking staff (Swetlena) is a reasonable family hotel with a reasonable price.

Pretty clean in the room, clean towels and bed linen. Rooms smell cigarettes and there are stains on the ceiling, walls, where water was flooded, needs repair.
