Invictus Hotel in Rafailovici

I stayed at Invictus Hotel for 7 days, likely outside the main tourist season in October. While the hotel is located near the beach, there is no direct access, and the beach itself consists of fine gravel with a steep incline. The surrounding area was noticeably untidy and affected by nearby construction sites, both on the bedroom and balcony sides.
The public areas of the hotel were well-maintained. However, the room did not meet expectations. Despite the hotel being relatively new, the bathroom showed signs of mold, especially in the shower, and the grout was visibly dirty. Wall damage and exposed cables further detracted from the overall impression. The kitchenette included stovetops but lacked basic cooking utensils and kitchen towels.

Breakfast was acceptable, but seating was insufficient for families of four, making it sometimes difficult to find a table at times. The breakfast area is split across two levels, with the buffet downstairs and seating upstairs, accessible only via a narrow staircase—this setup is not barrier-free.

The pool is very small and lacks changing or shower facilities.

On a positive note, the staff were friendly and responded promptly to a request for a deep clean, although the results were limited.

I would not recommend the hotel as construction work around the hotels will still take some time and our rooms were already today in a bad condition.
