One of the best hotels I have been, especially for the price we paid. Everything was clean, everything working, nothing broken. Breakfasts were divine, every day food was different, tasty and fresh. Staff was very caring. Overall amazing and definitely will recommend Idila hotel to friends.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at Idila Hotel Montenegro in a Deluxe Double Room with Park View. The hotel exceeded our expectations – everything was spotless, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful.

The location is perfect – just a short walk to the center and very close to markets, restaurants, and fast food options. Despite being so central, the neighborhood is quiet and relaxing.

What truly made our stay special was the outstanding staff. A huge thank you to Dunja and Helena, the two lovely ladies at the reception, always smiling and helpful. Also, thanks to the gentleman who went out of his way to help us surprise our daughter for her birthday and made sure every guest enjoyed their breakfast – always offering Turkish or espresso coffee with a kind word. Special thanks as well to the owner, who made our daughter's birthday even more memorable.

Breakfast was a highlight – varied, fresh, and incredibly delicious every morning.

We stayed in penthouse, it was very comfortable, clean and well designed. It has separated 3 room and 3 bathrom, breakfast was normal. Otopark was enough, location is hard to find.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. Each time were only pleasant impressions. Comfortable rooms, cleanliness, friendly staff, delicious and varied breakfasts. Good location, quiet and close to the sea. It's our preferable hotel in Budva.

Arrived hours early for check in after taking a night bus to Budva so thought we’d have to spend all day waiting to check in, however the manager saw us waiting and decided to change our booking and upgrade us to an apartment so we could check in early and get some sleep! Couldn’t believe how incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming the staff were - the hotel ended up being the best part of our stay in budva.

Other than the incredible staff, the room was also incredibly clean, had all the facilities needed and there’s a good breakfast with multiple options every morning.

Location of the hotel is about 5-10 min walk from the beach and there’s multiple mini supermarkets nearby. Also about a 10-15 min walk from the bus station.

Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing staff! Ladies at the reception are always smiling and ready to help you. She made our holiday great! We had only 2 days and visited lots of places by her recommendations. You will have a very good breakfast and coffee. Last day, we left earlier than breakfast time and they prepared a lovely lunchbox for us. Room and toilet are extremely clean and comfortable. It is cleaned up and towels are changed every morning while you are enjoying your breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. If you can find availability don’t look for other places!

Lovely clean and modern hotel in a quiet, but central location in Budva - 5 mins walk to the beach and 15-20 mins from the Old Town. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Great breakfast with plenty of choice and good for gluten free too. The only thing missing is a swimming pool, but overall no faults at all. Thank you!

My family and I didn't stay at this hotel, but we lived in the apartments in the same building for a year and a half. However, my extremely negative experience is specifically related to the Idila Hotel.

We had a bicycle that the apartment owner allowed us to store in her personal space in the garage. This garage is shared between the hotel and the apartments. The owner gave me a key to open the garage door.

One day, after dropping my child off at kindergarten and returning, I opened the garage and started bringing in the bicycle. A car was about to exit but stopped. A bearded man, whom I often saw at the hotel entrance—where he and another bearded colleague spent entire days chatting and doing nothing—looked out from the car. He was holding a small child on his lap while driving. He began shouting at me in Montenegrin. From his words, I understood that he was demanding I leave immediately, claiming I had no right to be in the garage. My attempts to ask questions or explain only made him shout louder. When I went to park the bicycle, he began following me with his car. He said that if it weren't for the child (whom he was holding the entire time), he would beat me up. When I asked who he was, he replied that he owned the whole building. He then drove off, cursing.

The apartment owner came immediately upon hearing about the incident. We went to the hotel reception, but the man wasn't there. The Idila Hotel staff refused to help us in any way. The owner asked them to inform this man that he should never yell at her tenants again.

I encountered this man several times afterward. When asked directly if he wanted to apologize, he simply turned away. After that, he would always pass by in silence.

I believe this situation speaks volumes about the staff at the Idila Hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and I can absolutely recommend it for anyone who wants to explore Budva. The hotel is finished to an exceptionally high standard and looks brand new. The rooms are very comfortable, well thought out (sockets, storage etc) and spotless, and there were even some biscuits in the room as a welcome gift when we checked in. The location is great for anyone who wants easy access to explore Budva old town and the beach as we were about a 30 minute walk from the old town (I'm sure there are buses but we didn't look at this option). There are also many cafés and shops nearby within a 5/10 minute walk, including pharmacies and a supermarket. However, despite the buslting location the hotel is up a side street and away from all the noise and feels very peaceful. Breakfast was of high quality and changed each morning, and had a varied selection which I looked forward to each morning. We were also greeted at the door and offered a choice of fresh teas and coffees which was great, and something that was lacking in many other hotels during our trip. However, the highlight of our stay was the staff who made us feel welcome and very comfortable. They were all incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive and went out of their way for us. It was my birthday on the day we were checking out and the stack of birthday pancakes at breakfast was a lovely way to start the day! I can absolutely recommend this hotel if you want a high quality room in a quiet area with wonderful staff!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Budva! The prices were really good for what they offer — great value for money. The staff were extremely polite and always ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were lovely, very clean, and beautifully maintained, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Budva — I’ll definitely come back! Greetings from Albania 🇦🇱

We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff - Yasmina, Magda, and every single person we encountered in the reception or cleaning staff, were all SO KIND, WELCOMING and had a high-class service attitude. They made our stay 1000% better with great recommendations, and lovely present in our room when checking in.

The room is very big, including a kitchen and a balcony. The room is super clean, design is up to date and the bathroom is new. I do wish they would offer different soaps for body vs. shampoo and conditioner, but this is the most ridiculous comment I have ever had on a hotel.

Breakfast was worth it - fresh veggies, eggs, nuts, granola, pastries and fruit. From what it looked when we were looking for an hotel in Montenegro, it's more than average.

They have a lots of parking soace, a groceries store near the hotel, based right near the beach and it's 15 mins walk from the old town.
They have a small gym and a swimming pool which we didn't try because it was cold.

We will definitely come back on our next stay. Thank you Admiral hotel team!

Very nice small hotel - renovated and clean. The rooms are small, but since this is a lively beach town with so many great places to visit, vibrant streets with countless cafés, bars and restaurants open late into the evening, you really only need the room to shower and sleep. 😊
Breakfast was perfect, nicely presented and delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beach is just a 5–10 minute walk away, and the Old Town is also close.
The pool area is cosy and pleasant, and you can even take the towels to the beach (just let the reception know first). One thing to keep in mind: there’s no elevator in the building.

Not recommended – very disappointing stay
For about 10 hours there was no hot water in the hotel. After coming back from the sea and the pool, we couldn’t shower and had to stay like that for dinner and going out. The showers only had freezing water, and when we approached the staff we were told this was a recurring problem throughout the hotel, and that the technician could only come the next morning. Only thanks to a very kind employee, who personally went to the boiler and fixed it himself, the problem was eventually solved.

The next morning we approached the reception expecting at least some acknowledgment, but instead experienced terrible service: the manager denied the issue completely, accused us of lying, and spoke in a rude and dismissive way. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel. The staff members were nice, but the manager’s attitude was simply unacceptable.

Other things to note:
• No elevator in the hotel, and this is not mentioned anywhere.
• The room was very small, even though we booked a “Superior” (supposedly the largest).
• Noise is heard clearly in the rooms.

Bottom line – I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I stayed for 4 nights. It was very comfortable. Pool was clean. Hotel is located near to beaches. 5 mins by walking. 20 minutes for Old Town.
Staff were very helpful. We asked them to arrange airport shuttle for arrival and departure.
Breakfast options could be more. Only pork was available. There could be beef.
