Hotel Cruiser in Ulcinj

Absolutely terrible. When I arrived they made me cancel my *********** reservation (they kept phoning until I did it) and pay them directly. As a single traveller I felt very vulnerable and unable to complain. Although it says parking included, I still got 2 parking fines before they gave me the ticket to display in my car. They don't have their own on or off street parking. I was 'upgraded' to a room where the bathroom door had to be kept shut because of the awful sewerage smell. The lift button didnt work for my floor (maybe a good thing as the lift had never been cleaned and smelt like the bathroom), no cooking utensils to use the kitchen provided (not even a pan), no batteries in remotes for the TV or AirCon, the main light in bedroom didnt switch on etc. I tried breakfast twice but it didnt get better- they gave a menu with 5 basic items to pick from- no coffee etc. I was counting down the hours to leave this hotel. The only positives was the friendly person on reception in the mornings and the view of the beach. The evening staff (5pm) wouldn't even come to reception- they would only lie through the ring camera setup. For anyone considering booking Ulcinj in late September- don't! Most restaurants had shut for the season and the town was too quiet.

The location is great, it's by the sea, the beach gets crowded, the breakfast is very poor, just a piece of cheese and coffee with a bagel or omelet, but the main problem is the big garbage bin nearby, the SMELL OF THE GARBAGE comes to the rooms, we stayed for 7 days and the room was cleaned only once, the towels are hung in the corridor to dry, it's like a joke, there is no order at all, we were not satisfied, I definitely DO NOT recommend it❗️

Total dissapointed about this (so awarded) 4* hotel...☹ as we paid a bunch of money in full estival seson, for a family appartment for 4...
When we arrived, July 11th, we had the unpleasant surprise to receive our appartment even though they didn't clean it properly. When we showed them the dust in the rooms and the filthiness in the bathroom !!! (dirthy shower, shower's doors hanging to fall on you, unhygienic toilet) !!! the responsible staff for clening told us "my colleague from Reception didn't tell me that you guys are coming via Booking, we would have clean better the appartment if I would have knew"...together whit my wife, we were stunned to hear such a thing!

Above all this, they (somehow) managged to cancel our reservation on Booking!!! even though we have booked & payed up-front that appartment for 7 nights...we will try to give also on Booking our feedback, but untill we will clarify the situation with Booking, we are posting our impressions here, for you, as the next tourist to Ulcinj, but hopefully not as a customer of Cruiser Hotel in Ulcinj...

The hotel has a nice see view.
We met also one fair&nice reception girl (not the one on our arrival day) which was very helpfull.
The guys of the restaurant staff were also kind.

The hotel is in front of a public beach, the hotel doesn't have any sunbeds on the beach to provide to its gests, even though a part of the beach it's landscaped by some guys with sunbeds&umbrella for which you must pay 8 euros per day if you want to use a pair.
The water is proper for small kids, the beach is sandy, but is very filthy/dirty...people do not act responsible, they "forget" their mess onto the beach...it's such a pitty reality.

Another story to tell about Velica Plaza (Long beach) near by (12 km) _ it's worth to stay in Ulcinj, but not at Hotel Cruiser, and to go dayily to Velica Plaza. We recommend MCM Camping for relaxing on the beach!

Ambient is great. Coffee was terrible along with pizza. Taste really really bad.
