The hygiene of the room was good, but we booked a room with two beds. The distance between the two beds is so small that they feel like they are connected together. And because it is a resort hotel, there is no place to put the computer in the room, and there is no decent table. It seems like people over there don't use computers at all when they're on vacation. The hotel is great, a pleasant welcome with mint tea, the room is very spacious, several swimming pools, in the evening there are nice activities with the possibility of shisha, the breakfast is good, the dinner varies. And if you want to go out to the nightclub, it's good too.

Nice welcome with tea and cakes, fairly lively room service, the two swimming pools are very good, one of which is natural without chlorine, breakfast there is really a choice and a waiter at the top. When we entered the hotel, we were immediately impressed by the beautiful lobby. Our room was equally lovely – newly renovated with a tasteful and modern design. A very nice touch was the daily in-room snacks, such as nuts and fruit, which our kids especially enjoyed. The breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide selection including sweets, fresh yogurt, hummus, salads, local marmalade varieties...

The free hot breakfast was fantastic, with fresh waffles, classic English breakfast and even porridge, perfect for all tastes. The room was clean, quiet and cozy, with a comfy bed, ergonomic work desk and free high-speed WiFi, ideal for both leisure and business trips. 24-hour front desk offered great service with luggage storage, and the 24-hour gym with Peloton bikes was a nice bonus.

We stayed in Villa De L’o for a week. The location just inside the walls of the town and opposite the beach is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Without a doubt, the best choice we made in Essaouira. We traveled as a couple throughout Morocco and have visited other riads. Riad Casa Blanca isn't the most luxurious of them all, but it is the most welcoming. It's hard to feel at home outside of your home, but here the feeling is very similar. You have total freedom and independence, comfort, and all the basics to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing...

My stay was generally good, just a little disappointed by the level of hygiene. My room was not cleaned throughout my stay even though I stayed 7 days.

Friendly and helpful staff add to the relaxing comfort of this very reasonably priced hotel which is only 3 blocks walk ro the beach and main promenade. I loved my little balcony and the security screen so I could leave door open and get sea breeze during day and night. Breakfasts are plentiful and Karim will help with any queries. A thoroughly lovely experience.

We had an amazing stay at Dar Nafoura! The staff is absolutely lovely here and made sure to make us feel at home! They really are the nicest people!! Also, I recommend trying Khadija’s food, it’s delicious!

Lovely little Road, nice breakfast but carbohydrate heavy so be aware diabetics. Room and bed were comfortable and hot water working well. The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional and were really nice to put up with my almost nonexistent French. I would recommend for authentic stays.

An incredibly beautiful place to stay. The rooms are lovely, but the common areas—of which there are many—are truly stunning and tastefully designed. My girlfriend and I only stayed here for two nights, but it’s the perfect spot for a longer stay. It’s also ideal for staying with larger groups or for remote work.

Very excellent riad, right in the best part of the kasbah. But do not stay here if you are bothered by hearing the Muslim call to prayer five times per day, including 6:30 am. Didn't bother me. We are in a Muslim country and they have their ways. Roll over and go back to sleep and feel comforted that you don't have to hurry to prayer.

We stayed at this Riad for 2 nights. The environment is lovely and the owners are the most helpful. They accommodate all your wishes. The woman is a great cook and the two men are always there to help. We used the spa and had a massage and and Hammam which was great. The Riad is about a 10 min ride from Essouria. I highly recommend.

Fantastic riad. Our favorite out of four cities in Morocco. The ocean view suite was absolutely fabulous. Perfect views any time of day. Amazing to watch and listen to the waves. Breakfast on terrace simply spectacular. Very pleasant staff. Would gladly return there!

A pearl in the Medina indeed. A wonderful room, facing the pounding Atlantic, with easy access to all of Essaouira. The breakfast was a great start to the day. My hamman and massage -- like my wife's pedicure and facial -- were refreshing, relaxing and effective. Add the amazing staff, and we'd come here anytime Essaouira calls.

We stayed in the Riad Perle D’eau for two nights and loved it so much that we booked four more. Firstly, if you have never strayed in a riad then DO IT. They are like Doctor Who’s Tardis., A small unassuming entrance and then boom, inside an oasis of beauty. Only a handful of rooms , built around a central core with lots of nooks and crannies just waiting to be discovered What a beautiful location...

In one word: perfect. For once you have a riad with outward facing windows and not dark and cramped. Take the suite on the rooftop if you can, not so much for the extra space but for the extra light and the feeling of being "beyond it". Service, breakfast etc etc all perfect. Perfect choice for Essaouira. And Essaouira itself is also a very nice place to stop after busy cities like Marrakesh....

I really enjoyed my stay at Dar Ness Riad! The location is absolutely fantastic—right in the heart of Essaouiraaa, close to everything you want to explore. The rooftop terrace, while offering some nice views, does feel a bit neglected and could definitely benefit from some freshening up and cleaning up. First, the positives, and they are very positive. The rooms on the top floor are large, light and clean, with comfy beds and hot showers. Dar Ness was our last night stay in Morocco and a great way to end the trip. Our room was upgraded to a larger one for no charge and no reason other than it was available and they were just generous enough to offer it.
