Sofitel Mogador Golf & Spa Hotel
Essaouira, Domaine de Mogador (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
quiet and friendly hotel, but below European and Asian standards Friendly and helpful staff The hall is very nice but the rooms need a good refresh Good experience overall
the hotel is a bit far from the city around 6 minutes by car which is a good thing for me well placed in front of the golf and the sea with great view in the calme with all the needed facilities you can think of local food and fresh dishes i loved the breakfasts offer very clean and spacious with great view top very good, with great attention to details
The hotel is great, a pleasant welcome with mint tea, the room is very spacious, several swimming pools, in the evening there are nice activities with the possibility of shisha, the breakfast is good, the dinner varies
Nice welcome with tea and cakes, fairly lively room service, the two swimming pools are very good, one of which is natural without chlorine, breakfast there is really a choice and a waiter at the top
Such a beautiful place! I stayed there during my visit to Essaouira and it was awesome. It's a bit pricey for Morocco but considering what was included with the package, I'll take it! Will make sure to check in again
Second stay at this lovely hotel, specious rooms, nice room view overlooking the ocean, amazing breakfast, will book again

There is a big swimming pool which is great! It's just that the weather has been a bit cold these two days, which is perfect for playing on the beach and swimming with your children!
Super luxury hotel , a perfect location next to the beach ,it's just awesome (the girls at the reception are so nice) . Essaiuira in general is a very beautiful and calme city with a very kind people
Excellent holiday, worthy of the best hotels, we were warmly welcomed and impeccable service throughout the holiday. the renovation met expectations, impeccable quality
A good hotel, a beautiful reception from all the staff, elegant treatment and very delicious Moroccan food, especially the local breakfast, which was irresistible.
the booking service was very professional and amazingly friendly. not forgetting the spacious and very clean rooms we will be back!
A haven of peace :) This is a special hotel for our family with exceptional service. The rooms are spacious and very clean

Great service - friendly staff, tea on arrival, baggage delivered to room Room was a very good size, super comfy bed, little balcony, decor was a bit tired but nothing major Facilities were great - spa was amazing, pool area was chilled, private beach was really nice to relax on Location was 10 minutes walk to the medina, beach was across the street
Beach is right in front, decent gym and heated indoor pool, short walk to the markets. Outdoor pool isn't heated and was a bit cold to swim in Dec. I enjoyed the breakfast, some interesting items like banana jam
Great hotel! We’ve had such a wonderful stay, only thing is the rooms do look like they need a little renovation but other than that it was a brilliant hotel! The staff were all amazing, our rooms were always clean and we had such a beautiful view of the beach
Wonderful hotel with great service from the staff, it felt like they actually care about making your stay great. Room service is around multiple times to replenish items. The best place in my 2 weeks in the country
Wonderful hotel and lovely staff. We will definitely be back to see dear Youssef, Latifah and the entire team!
The hotel is very clean and the facilities here are quite complete.

Hôtel Des Iles
Essaouira, Boulevard Mohamed V (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The Hotel des Iles has an excellent location, sitting as it does just across a road from the beach, only a couple of minutes walk to an entrance into the medina and not much more to the famous Squala fort by the port of Essaouira
It is a very nice 4* hotel in a splendid building set in nice grounds with a lovely big swimming pool
The other facilities in it such as the bathroom were fine except that the both the toilet seat and cistern were loose. We managed with that but they should be looked at soon and fixed
I found it surprising that there was no little safe in the room which is very common to most hotels and that there was no “Do not Disturb / Please clean the room” notice to hang on the door, resulting in the chambermaid coming to do her work before we left the room for the day
I did however feel that the outside looks tired and is in need of a facelift (repainting) and that paint flaking off the wooden guard rail on the balcony of our room so that too is in really urgently in need of re-painting
As to other services, we found that the internet in our part of the hotel was very poor, having no connection most of the time and also the TV had a very poor reception

Excellent beds make for a great hotel and they've got them! We are staying in a junior suite that overlooks the ocean and sleep with the windows wide open hearing the sounds of the crashing sea against the seawall directly under the hotel
You look down on the ramparts below and the sea is only a few feet away. The included breakfast comes with various breads, yogurt. Coffee, tea, honey and Jan plus a hard boiled egg and orange juice
Nice Hotel in the Medina. Rooms with sea-view.....wonderful. Breakfast & diner......ok, but not more.
Located in the Medina in an amazing location was this beautiful establishment. The view from the bedroom window was breathtaking. Excellent service from the staff and good breakfast too made for a wonderful 2 night stay
Only downside is that free Internet in the hotel is slow compared to many other countries, but I think that is beyond their control and more a factor of the Internet Service Providers I'm the area
It is fresh squeezed and lives up to the Moroccan traditional excellence. The fourth floor has a great restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed the rack of lamb for dinner

The Riad is in a residential area, across the road from the beach and a 10 dirham ride up to the Medina. The rooms are simply laid out, a nice comfy bed, decent shower and plenty of sockets to charge your own items
We had the fish banquet on the first night, monkfish, prawns, octopus, squid, vegetables, clams, it’s the meal that keeps on giving and unbelievable value. Breakfast is a simple affair but sets you up for the day
I can only say it’s beautiful from the inside to the outside. Inside the staff make it so special. It’s a family owned Riad where Xavier, his wife and son really do look after you, along with their amazing staff
however, AC is used also for humidity and it was humid. I survived the night but it was not great. If you need AC, avoid this place. Wifi was sort of weak given my room location and breakfast was decent
Saw some ants crawling along the chair rail above the bed
Eggs your choice, bread, pancakes, yoghurt, cake, cheese( the spreadable type) tea coffee, juice, honey and jam. Pool is a lovely relief, a bit cool but still a lovely addition after a day out

The breakfast was amazing included - coffee, local tea, orange juice, egg omelette and different types of bread with almond butter, jam and more
The receptionist was super nice and very helpful. I really aporecite that she could speak English because that is not very common in Maroco
They welcomed us with smile even it was night. The breakfast is tasty and so many!

There are many good cafes and restaurants, shops nearby, it is a 10-minute walk to the fortress, 15 minutes to the beach
Complete immersion in the past)) However, for us this was also not a problem. The linen is clean, the bed is comfortable, the towels were changed every day, the bathroom has good shampoo, shower gel and body lotion
It is very nice to have breakfast in the fresh air under the cries of seagulls. You can also spend time there in the evening. You can't get to the riad by car, but it's not a problem
We spent 1 night in this riad after a few intense days in the Marrakesh region. We've been very glad to with the location and upon our arrival the personal has been very pleasant, respectful and accommodating with us
Park at the port, there are porters with carts who will take your luggage to the riad for a small fee and show you the way. And special thanks to the owners and staff, they are very welcoming and friendly
Breakfast on the roof is pleasant with eggs, fruit, juices, yoghurt and breads. Location is great, just near a main shopping street and through a short alley to the busiest shopping street

Great rooms, lovely feel. The breakfast spread could be better, and WiFi connectivity was almost non-existent in the room, but overall would recommend.

I had a room with a balcony so could sit and watch the sunset over the sea which is my favourite place to be. We were three ladies on a short break and the suite we had could more than accommodate our needs
The hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pool area situated in beautiful gardens all worthy of my faultless review
Spacious, lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Swimming pool was lovely and really nice place to chill for a few hours. Breakfast was fine, same everyday though and far too much food, I hope the leftover isn't wasted
I’d advise this hotel for the following reasons: Cosy and authentic hotel Great quality (large) rooms Fantastic team ! Close (1km) to the fabulous medina - and yet not having the noise of staying in the medina Btw, plenty of top restaurants in the medina!! Great instructors for kitesurfing and surfing 50 meters from the beach The garden is an oasis of peace Airport of Essaouira is at 15 min Definitely...
This is a beautiful property on a quiet street. The staff are very professional and laid-back. I wish we had more time to enjoy the various sitting areas, but we were out and about when we were there
We spend 8 days at Villa Quieta and had the opportunity to spend time in different rooms, because of our late minute booking. This hotel is gorgeous (original Marrocan style) and will placed just in front of the beach

I loved my little balcony and the security screen so I could leave door open and get sea breeze during day and night. Breakfasts are plentiful and Karim will help with any queries. A thoroughly lovely experience
Friendly and helpful staff add to the relaxing comfort of this very reasonably priced hotel which is only 3 blocks walk ro the beach and main promenade
Breakfast just like in the rest of Morocco. Good rooms but not good internet everywhere. Delivery from Platium restaurant to the room. Beach within walking distance
The bathroom and we have to tell them is a redflag, with the rims of the bowl which are yellowish and with a bathtub without a shower curtain which causes water to flood the room and overflow onto the bedroom floor no matter what you do and I find that too disturbing
A charming hotel, with attentive, caring and helpful staff. The decor is attractive and warm and reminds us a bit of the region. But being a bit of a ****** and one of the few people who pay attention to detail

They've definitely done their job with making the rooms comfortable and beautiful but the rooftop, and small touches throughout the building in the way of repairs and maintenance, would go a long way
The building is absolutely remarkable. It's got some wonderful touches, amazing history, large rooms with big bathtubs, and a rooftop overlooking the ocean. The staff were truly the best
They were accommodating, friendly, and hard-working. Our only suggestion would be that the owners – who we did not meet – invest in the place a little bit more
We had the Prestige room overlooking the beach which was a spectacular vista to wake up to. It is huge with a bathroom the size of most hotel rooms. It had a beautiful sunken bath and separate shower
Superb Riad inside the fortified Medina of Essaouira. Great team on reception able to speak French and English. Capacious rooms with wonderful ensuite
The hotel is at a prime location, just a few minutes' walk from both the main shopping areas and the beach. Included in our stay, the breakfast was plentiful, ensuring a great start to our day
