Atlas Essaouira Riad Resort, Essaouira1 / 30
8.0
Essaouira, Boulevard Mohamed V (in the centre) 🧭 Map
There is a big swimming pool which is great! It's just that the weather has been a bit cold these two days, which is perfect for playing on the beach and swimming with your children!
Riad resort is beautiful, huge and has a lot of facilities. Beach front is surreal
Super luxury hotel , a perfect location next to the beach ,it's just awesome (the girls at the reception are so nice) . Essaiuira in general is a very beautiful and calme city with a very kind people
Excellent holiday, worthy of the best hotels, we were warmly welcomed and impeccable service throughout the holiday. the renovation met expectations, impeccable quality
A good hotel, a beautiful reception from all the staff, elegant treatment and very delicious Moroccan food, especially the local breakfast, which was irresistible.
the booking service was very professional and amazingly friendly. not forgetting the spacious and very clean rooms we will be back!

Le Golf D’ Essaouira & Spa Hotel, Essaouira1 / 30
8.0
Essaouira, Domaine Mogador (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
quiet and friendly hotel, but below European and Asian standards Friendly and helpful staff The hall is very nice but the rooms need a good refresh Good experience overall
The hotel is great, a pleasant welcome with mint tea, the room is very spacious, several swimming pools, in the evening there are nice activities with the possibility of shisha, the breakfast is good, the dinner varies
Nice welcome with tea and cakes, fairly lively room service, the two swimming pools are very good, one of which is natural without chlorine, breakfast there is really a choice and a waiter at the top
Such a beautiful place! I stayed there during my visit to Essaouira and it was awesome. It's a bit pricey for Morocco but considering what was included with the package, I'll take it! Will make sure to check in again
Had an awesome time Free shuttle was great Golf course was awesome Breakfast was amazing
And if you want to go out to the nightclub, it's good too

Le Médina Essaouira Thalassa Sea & Spa - MGallery Collection, Essaouira1 / 30
9.0
Essaouira, Avenue Mohamed V (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Nice hotel, perfect location (5 minutes walking to Medina), has their comfortable zone at seaside
Great service - friendly staff, tea on arrival, baggage delivered to room Room was a very good size, super comfy bed, little balcony, decor was a bit tired but nothing major Facilities were great - spa was amazing, pool area was chilled, private beach was really nice to relax on Location was 10 minutes walk to the medina, beach was across the street
In addition, some of the advertised amenities were not available during our stay – the kids’ room (including table tennis) was closed, and the indoor pool was not accessible
While the outdoor pool is beautiful, it is not heated, so especially on windy days in Essaouira, we would have really appreciated having access to the indoor pool
The hotel is not new, some shabby, bathroom needs a repair- but it’s clean and well packed (including bathrobe and slippers). Breakfast is also fine, but not for 5*
I believe that it’s a good choice hotel (not riad) for travelers who prefer good location, clean and comfortable place and not looking for brand new boutique hotel

Essaouira, 4 Boulevard Lalla Aichaangle (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Very simple hotel in a good location at the entrance to the medina. Excellent location right by the sea and at the entrance to the medina. Note for children: it's just a sofa, not a sofa bed
My friend upgraded to a pool-facing room with balcony, which was much, much nicer and a lot quieter! I would have liked a kettle in the room, or tea/coffee facilities downstairs. The nearest cafe was 5 min walk away
The Hotel Ocean Vagabond (not to be confused with the bar of the same name at the other end of the beach!) is in an ideal location a couple of hundred metres from the beautiful beach and very close to the medina
The pool & small garden were lovely, we had a dip every afternoon & chilled out in the little garden 'hut'. The staff are really lovely - very friendly & helpful
Close to the beach and the market
An unforgettable stay in Essaouira! We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere is charming and the location ideal. A special thank you to Layla who was exceptionally kind and professional

Villa de l'O, Essaouira1 / 30

Essaouira, Rue Mohamed Ben Massaoud, 3 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is at a prime location, just a few minutes' walk from both the main shopping areas and the beach. Included in our stay, the breakfast was plentiful, ensuring a great start to our day
We stayed in Villa De L’o for a week. The location just inside the walls of the town and opposite the beach is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful
Breakfast was traditional Moroccan : fruit, pancakes, pastry, omelette, and more which we enjoyed each morning. Our bedroom was overlooking the beach and had both a shower and a bath. It was large and cleaned every day
Quiet - just the seagulls and the calls to prayer from the local minarets awoke us in the mornings. Lovely atmosphere and rich in Moroccan heritage
The fishing harbour, beach, fortifications and the waves crashing on the rocks outside the city walls
The town itself is such a good get away, lots of great places to eat, lots of first class beautiful moroccan hand made souvenirs, textiles, shoes, pottery - you name it! The tagines are delicious with fresh fish caught that morning

Riad Al Madina, Essaouira1 / 25
7.7
Essaouira, 9 Rue Attarine (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It's also very close to the ancient city and the beach, but the price is not cheap 😲. The breakfast selection is limited
Very nice and well located riad in the median. It was a very good sized room and not far from the beach and centrally located
No matter how many times I showed them the reservation, they said no (. it was more than 18 Dirham in favor of the hotel as well as n regarding the exchange rate at local exchange offices) it is an issue that TRIP
the floor was completely open) with no curtain and everything ended up dripping with water, when paying the municipal tourist tax they charged me 120 Dhm. and not 10€ as stated in the reservation itself
A great sized rooftop terrace. The only thing I wish the room had was a small refrigerator and a fan because it did get warm in the room but other than that it was great. We would definitely stay again
We could only get internet downstairs near reception - you can sit in the courtyard when you need to access it - to be honest we quite liked having a break from more constant internet like at home

Hotel Des Iles, Essaouira1 / 10
6.7
Essaouira, Boulevard Mohammed V (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The Hotel des Iles has an excellent location, sitting as it does just across a road from the beach, only a couple of minutes walk to an entrance into the medina and not much more to the famous Squala fort by the port of Essaouira
The other facilities in it such as the bathroom were fine except that the both the toilet seat and cistern were loose. We managed with that but they should be looked at soon and fixed
It is a very nice 4* hotel in a splendid building set in nice grounds with a lovely big swimming pool
I found it surprising that there was no little safe in the room which is very common to most hotels and that there was no “Do not Disturb / Please clean the room” notice to hang on the door, resulting in the chambermaid coming to do her work before we left the room for the day
Breakfast was certainly not bad, but the buffet in the evening which we only tried twice in our stay little uninspiring, having I thought a fairly limited choice of dishes when compared to many of the other hotels and resorts around the world
I did however feel that the outside looks tired and is in need of a facelift (repainting) and that paint flaking off the wooden guard rail on the balcony of our room so that too is in really urgently in need of re-painting

Essaouira, 28, Impasse Moulay Ismaîl (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Immaculately clean hotel and faultless WhatsApp communication from staff (thanks to Hamza!) from the second I made the reservation: Book direct on the phone, not on Booking
A 3 minute walk to the Medina and restaurants. Easily accessible to the beach and anywhere else you would want to walk to in Essaouira. As the pics show it's a tall building with no elevator
Our room was on the top floor. Hiking up all the stairs is not for the weak. There did not appear to be any rooms on the bottom floor so I don't think this place would work for anyone with mobility issues
The staff were friendly and helpful, providing restaurant recommendtions. Complimentary breakfast was nice with the best coffee we had in Morocco. Our room (7) was a king with a twin
There’s a great eat-in or takeaway pizza and pasta restaurant about 25 metres away too, if you’re tired after a long day of touring. Book a room here without hesitation
Staff are really helpful and will help with any questions you have or things you may require. Nice location near to all the stuff you would want to visit in the medina

She is really kind from the first moment. The terrace is nice and they serve the breakfast there, really nice to have it seeing the sea. Really good location, in the Medina, near the sea
The unique walled medina is topped by impressive fortresses. A sandy beach of impressive proportions is readily available just outside the medina walls
This is a really nice and warm place to be in Essaouira. The girl that owned that place is so nice and the rooms are really beautiful and with lot of details done with lot of care and love
Really good option (I stayed with a friend in January 2016)
My partner and I stayed at the Riad Belle Essaouira for 7 days and loved it. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast on the terrace needs to be mentioned, the ocean view is breath taking
They were both charming and hard working, always ready for a joke and teaching us about local culture. Essaouira is a picturesque old fishing town with much to see

We stayed at this Riad for 2 nights. The environment is lovely and the owners are the most helpful. They accommodate all your wishes. The woman is a great cook and the two men are always there to help
The staff were incredibly helpful with whatever we needed, the breakfast was great, comfortable space with a fire to spend time in away from the bedroom
Delicious breakfast, beautiful riad - just as like on the pictures. The owner and his family members (staff) were very helpful and kind.
We used the spa and had a massage and and Hammam which was great. The Riad is about a 10 min ride from Essouria
Really nice place with nice staff. The best place we have stayed in a long time

Stayed one night in a sea view suite, it was absolute heaven. Thank you very much!

It was really spacious and could easily accommodate a family of 4. We felt like royalty! There were so many closets - 7 in total! The bathroom was bigger than my bedroom at home! The bed was luxuriously comfortable
I had the best night sleep in a very long time. The private terrace was perfect for morning coffee and just looking at the view. The staff are simply wonderful. Everyone was very kind, helpful, and polite
The morning breakfast, which was included, was delicious and plentiful enough to tide us over until dinner. I plan to return to Essaouira for a longer visit and will absolutely stay at Villa Quieta
The hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pool area situated in beautiful gardens all worthy of my faultless review
Villa Quieta is a little further away from the medina than other lodging, but DO NOT let that discourage you. It is a lovely stroll down the promenade to the medina or a 7 dirham taxi ride
Beautiful property with garden and pool. Not the closest to the Medina but a great location next to the beach. Quick taxi or easy 30 min walk. Nice clean, comfortable, and big room with good lighting

Convenient location. Clean room. Nice road beautifully decorated. Standard breakfast. No air conditioning but open window cooled room very nicely. Would prefer television for when in room in evening. Free WiFi.
Our favorite out of four cities in Morocco. The ocean view suite was absolutely fabulous. Perfect views any time of day. Amazing to watch and listen to the waves. Breakfast on terrace simply spectacular
I didn’t learn the name of everybody and feel guilty for that but without exception, everybody was so welcoming and, when far from home, that made out little hotel feel like home Did I forget to mention the breakfast, with so many things to choose from and such as selection of fine nibbles We were lucky enough to stay in a suite overlooking the ocean and sipped a white wine while listening to Adele...
nice, clean convenient, enjoyed the room and the scenery from the roof
, A small unassuming entrance and then boom, inside an oasis of beauty. Only a handful of rooms , built around a central core with lots of nooks and crannies just waiting to be discovered What a beautiful location
As I pen this I am sitting in the upper terrace, watching the sun rise over the ocean and listening to the sea crashing on the rocks below What great staff , the wonderful Ishmael with his welcoming smile and helpful thoughts, the marvellous Cabrera who organised for us a Hamman something or other and then a transcendental massage

J'ai adoré l'odeur d'encens le matin dans le patio et la superbe terrasse. Le petit-déjeuner est varié avec du bon café. Le service est top : linge frais à la demande et machine à laver pour quelques euros
Highlights: • Atmosphere: Waking up to the smell of incense in the patio was magical. • Hosts: The French owners and the receptionist are super friendly and speak great English
I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a calm, clean, and friendly base to explore the city! Ce riad au style épuré est une perle. Idéalement situé mais très calme, c’est un refuge parfait
• Facilities: Great rooftop terrace, varied breakfast, and good coffee. • Service: Very attentive staff; laundry service available for a few Euros and fresh towels anytime
Un grand merci aux hôtes français et à la réceptionniste pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur anglais impeccable. Propre, sûr et très accueillant !
This Riad is a gem for anyone traveling alone. It’s stylishly puristic and located in the best part of town, but still surprisingly quiet

I loved my little balcony and the security screen so I could leave door open and get sea breeze during day and night. Breakfasts are plentiful and Karim will help with any queries. A thoroughly lovely experience
My stay was generally good, just a little disappointed by the level of hygiene. My room was not cleaned throughout my stay even though I stayed 7 days.
Quite a tired property and needs some serious updating.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff is helpful and welcoming and happy to give local recommendations. Breakfast on the terrace is the perfect start to the day
RIAD EXCEPTIONNEL Le Riad Émotion est très apaisant. Sa décoration est très typique, mais aussi très cocooning, fait avec beaucoup de goût ; nous sommes au centre de la Médina mais c’est d’un calme absolu
Highly recommend! It’s beautifully decorated and spotless. Feels like you are staying in a private home. Breakfast on rooftop is fabulous. Location is central and on a quiet street
We had a fantastic stay at Riad Émotion. From the first moment entering the Riad, you can sense the serene, quiet, and calming atmosphere. It is stunningly decorated with local art in both common areas and the rooms
The homemade breakfasts were a particular delight each morning, including yogurt, fresh fruits, eggs whichever way you like them, perfectly curated coffee, mouth watering crepes, jams, honeys and cakes
A hidden gem on the roof top with relaxing places to relax and views of the town. The atmosphere of the whole Road was one of calm serenity. Would love to return one day…

We loved our room on the top floor on the terrace! There is a small upper deck overlooking the Atlantic. The owner and staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home!
A gorgeous Riad right in the heart of the Medina. The facilities were absolutely wonderful and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I had a lovely room with a comfortable bed
The atmosphere is stunning with eclectic traditional and contemporary Moroccan artwork, richly patterned rugs, blankets and pillows, ample space in my room and exceptional ambience in the Salon
We spent only one night in this lovely riad - but intend to return! Our ground floor room suite was so roomy and beautifully decorated, as was the whole building
Each morning, they served a generous breakfast—I especially loved the fresh orange juice and the perfectly seasoned omelet. All in all, it was a delightful stay, and I only wish we could have stayed longer!
The balcony / sundeck was great, we spent a lovely half hour at sunset with mint tea and biscuits. The staff were really welcoming and friendly

The riad is located about 20 minutes by foot to the medina, and about 5-10 minutes to the beach. Nearby is a place with many cafes to drink and eat something with good quality and prices
Our neighbors were a bit noisy throughout the night when they would get up to use the shared restroom - they would turn the light on in the hall (which was bright through the windows) and close/lock the door loudly (rooms are not sound proof) - but that’s not quite the fault of the riad! Overall, great time and very glad we did not stay in the busy Medina! That is a bit of a zoo in there! It was nice...
Also, a mosque at the end of the street is near, so you may wake up around 5 AM. The breakfast was good and varied enough. Various activities are suggested in a comprehensive booklet given by the hotel owners
The Riad was really beautiful and we got a nice big room. The hosts Nadia and Thierry also gave us some good recommendations. And the breakfast, which was served on the rooftop terrace, was just awesome.
It is a really nice riad in a great location. The rooms are beautiful and the service was excellent. We made a mistake with the booking and I was prompt solved by the owners without hesitation
Wonderful place, outside the medina. Quiet, wonderful breakfast, Nadia the owner gave so good service (you're a star), and a nice (20-25 min) walk to the medina (or a 10 MAD taxi tide)

There are many good cafes and restaurants, shops nearby, it is a 10-minute walk to the fortress, 15 minutes to the beach
It is very nice to have breakfast in the fresh air under the cries of seagulls. You can also spend time there in the evening. You can't get to the riad by car, but it's not a problem
We spent 1 night in this riad after a few intense days in the Marrakesh region. We've been very glad to with the location and upon our arrival the personal has been very pleasant, respectful and accommodating with us
Complete immersion in the past)) However, for us this was also not a problem. The linen is clean, the bed is comfortable, the towels were changed every day, the bathroom has good shampoo, shower gel and body lotion
For once you have a riad with outward facing windows and not dark and cramped. Take the suite on the rooftop if you can, not so much for the extra space but for the extra light and the feeling of being "beyond it"
Park at the port, there are porters with carts who will take your luggage to the riad for a small fee and show you the way. And special thanks to the owners and staff, they are very welcoming and friendly
