The breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide selection including sweets, fresh yogurt, hummus, salads, local marmalade varieties, and even freshly prepared omelettes on request.
Unfortunately, our stay was affected by some drawbacks. The room next to ours was under renovation, which resulted in significant noise all day. In addition, some of the advertised amenities were not available during our stay – the kids’ room (including table tennis) was closed, and the indoor pool was not accessible. While the outdoor pool is beautiful, it is not heated, so especially on windy days in Essaouira, we would have really appreciated having access to the indoor pool.
Overall, while the hotel has many strong points, these issues impacted our experience.
24-hour front desk offered great service with luggage storage, and the 24-hour gym with Peloton bikes was a nice bonus.
I believe that it’s a good choice hotel (not riad) for travelers who prefer good location, clean and comfortable place and not looking for brand new boutique hotel.
Room was a very good size, super comfy bed, little balcony, decor was a bit tired but nothing major
Facilities were great - spa was amazing, pool area was chilled, private beach was really nice to relax on
Location was 10 minutes walk to the medina, beach was across the street
The best place in my 2 weeks in the country. Beach is right in front, decent gym and heated indoor pool, short walk to the markets. Outdoor pool isn't heated and was a bit cold to swim in Dec.
I enjoyed the breakfast, some interesting items like banana jam. Thank you all. 😊
