Hhtt has by our experience the same price as Avalon house, the rooms are way worse though (we had a peak on the rooms in Avalon house because breakfast is served there).
The floors are dirty, hot water was barely working (at least water was not ice cold) and in general except the beds nothing was really clean there. The bathroom we got was super tiny (that is not true for all rooms, you have to get lucky or at least not unlucky) and dirty as well. Toilet was OK, shower - as mentioned - rather cold. If you wanted to plug in devices the plugs had to be held in certified positions for it to work.
The view from our room was nice, what again is not true for all rooms.
Breakfast in Avalon house was OK, it consisted of two eggs (scrambled, omelet or fried), tea or coffee a nen two toasts.
The staff was friendly and especially the owner very helpful.
