Hotel Lotus Gems in Kathmandu

A wonderful hotel in a pure Nepalese style (furniture, doors, decoration). They cleaned every day, even when I was leaving for Lumbini. The staff was very helpful; they really helped me with my trip to Lumbini. They arranged with the carrier, called a taxi, helped me find a bus at the bus station, helped me get on, talked with the driver, and tracked my return from Lumbini. The managers are young (a guy and a girl), but very friendly and willing to help. They also helped me with my trip to Pharping. In short, you feel cared for at every step. They always helped me call a taxi, and they even talked to the taxi driver when he called back and confirmed the location and price. I understood that the hotel is attached to a monastery, and a monk runs it. He also helped me with my trip to Pharping, telling me the name of the cave I wanted to visit. Thank you all so much))) There is always hot water, good pressure))) Breakfasts are delicious and filling))) The Budha Stupa is nearby; you can walk around it at any time; they say you should do it according to the number of years you've lived. There's a small pool. If you want to immerse yourself in Nepal, this is the place for you.

Everything was okay, except for the inconvenience caused by the road outside the hotel.

Hotel has the best location and beautifully located.
Lift was unfortunately out of order; bathroom leaks.
Staff is friendly and overall helpful. However, receptionist made a mistake of sending us to the international airport rather than domestic, which is a long walk for someone who is walking challenged. I thanked her anyway; just have to remember to be clear with reception which city we are going next.

It was low peak and therefore hotel was quiet. However, my room faces an eatery and therefore some noises expected until around 11pm as they were also washing pots and pans. Stayed at new wing and there were no lift, so expect to carry your luggage. As it was not peak, breakfast was set menu instead and was very tasty, service at the restaurant was great too.

Although it was close to the stupa, it was away from the hustle and bustle, so I was able to relax.
The rooms were spacious and equipped with heating and hot showers. There was a cafe on the rooftop where you could take a break while looking at the stupa.
The staff were very kind and sent me off cheerfully when I left. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Nepal again.

with the price is ok, with the location is ok and nearby to everything near stupa. Is fair price and fair facility .Overall i will come back again

The service was good, but construction was underway outside so the windows couldn't be opened.

The room is very clean. The service attitude is good. The environment is good. Very satisfied

I personally feel that the female staff of this hotel is more capable than the male staff. They can communicate in English, but the male waiter is not good at English and can't grasp the key points. Communication fatigue. When checking out, two of the three men sat at the front desk and asked a female staff to help customers carry their luggage and send them to the taxi.

There are no pictures when ordering. Some dishes are completely misunderstood during communication, resulting in the dishes you order are not what you imagined. There are also many Chinese restaurants nearby. Fresh juice is not bad, but the price is high.
