Today I visited this hotel to find a room n was very happy to meet Mr lama who own the hotel.
Rooms are very good n well ventilated, bathrooms are also good. I had dinner at hotel n can say that quality of food was really good. Staff is well behaved.
Lalit lama personally gave me some time n informed me about Kathmandu tourist places.

One of the worst experiences we've had in Nepal!
As we arrived, there was a guy in the reception, we asked if there is hot shower and he said yes.
The price of 1 room with 2 beds was 1500 rupees.
We agreed, and later we discovered there was no hot water in the shower.
Later that day, there was an electricity problem which they could not fix, and we forced to stay the whole evening in the dark.
After we went to sleep, there were people in the lobby, making a lot of noise all night long!
And the worst part was, in 5 AM, the workers of the guest house decided to put MUSIC in the lobby in FULL VOLUME!
This is just ridiculous!!!
After that we decided to get out as soon as possible and find another guest house.
We asked the receptionist to pay 1000 instead of 1500 because:
1. No hot shower like promised
2. Loud people all night long
3. No electricity
4. Early 5 AM wake up with loud music
And the guy just refused.
Don't go there, do not support this kind of business.

Comfortable and very reasonably priced for the amenities. A double bedroom is similar priced to two bunk beds in a hostel. Neatly maintained as well. Worth the stay.

The hotel offers great food and drinks for a very competitive price. A few of our favourites are the steamed Momo's, Vegetable Burger and Banana Lassi. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Recommended when staying in Thamel, Kathmandu!

At first I thought I should atleast give a single star, bt then I thought they don't even deserve that. Worst hotel I have been, staff was extremely rude, they were not even ready to give extra blanket even for money. Then comes the staff, I asked these people around 15 times to check water, water in the taps was extremely dirty and was giving foul smell, but rudely he said it will be like this only, next comes phone, room phone was not working and they said it will be like this only. I asked for soap for hand-wash and hand towel, didn't provide dat even. After that one of the staff member, he was not even listening and behaving like as if he is the guest and we people have come there. None of the staff member was cooperative and were busy drinking whole time. If you are thinking to visit this hotel u'll be extremely disappointed, don't even think of going there.

Stayed here for two days before the trekking. They put us on the 6th floor which feels like hiking a mountain itself (no lift). Room small just with a fan, shared bathroom (outside). They looked after your luggage during our trekking free of charge. Staff understand some restored English. Bedsheet was dirty and we asked them to change it (they changed it but seem unpleased). Its cheap (800k/night) so you get what you paid for

The place is great. But the foods are not spicy enough as it should be. The price is okay. Overall nice place to eat korean food. I recommend you guys to eat bibimbap there. It’s really tasty.

Cook for yourself or order it from the kitchen, both ways it is great. Had Korean food for dinner for 3 and paid 4400 which is around 44 usd. The food is cheap and is good. The only downside is crammed up ambiance. But, fairly big for a place like Thamel. The nicest thing, it has parking.
