Not recommended. Avoid if you can avoid.
Pictures posted by this hotel are misleading.
The rooms are not at all cleaned. Bed sheets are filthy. Curtains have not been washed since ages. Washroom stinks.
The lady who is supposed to clean the room is super rude. I asked her to clean multiple times and she kept saying 10 more mins while she was having a video chat with friends while lying on the bed in one of the rooms. Later I asked receptionist to get her to clean the room, she still was on video call while she cleaned.
Later I saw her brushing one the beds in some other room with the same broom that is used on floor. Imagine the amount of filth.
They provide soap bars, shampoos, and toilet paper for bathroom. Our shower had hot water. The bathrooms smells really bad. It also catches outside stench.
The only advantage is the location and low budget. There are more options in Thamel in same budget and better facilities.

I recently stayed at Hotel Northfield in Thamel, and I was very impressed with the hotel's homely atmosphere and friendly staff. The hotel is located in a great location, close to all the shops and restaurants in Thamel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the amenities are excellent. I would highly recommend Hotel Northfield to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kathmandu.

Due to the strict security reasons we required ID of both person specially when its male and female. And the unethical behaviour of the lady that came with you we have to take ID, and wouldn't take the risk of further problems. We do not allow such illegal activities in our hotel. The Northfield hotel was very comfortable, Sushant is a very friendly host, also everybody on the reception is very helpful organising taxis and with any information. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is excellent. The Northfield restaurant just beside offers great food.

For the same price that this hotel costs, there are better and more up-to-date hotels, the Wi-Fi is a disaster, the entire 7-night stay using my mobile data, there is nothing negative to say about the hotel staff, charming treatment

Awesome resident, location of hotel is good. This is located in center of thamel so you can buy lots of things, for shopping and purchasing shops are next to hotel and street view is amazing. You can find everything near this hotel.
Rooms are very beautiful and clean and also looks great, you will get only morning breakfast free and that also delicious.

The Hotel is in Thamel the location is a little difficult to find as it is in between market, the area is good for shopping and food.

The place is great. But the foods are not spicy enough as it should be. The price is okay. Overall nice place to eat korean food. I recommend you guys to eat bibimbap there. It’s really tasty.

Cook for yourself or order it from the kitchen, both ways it is great. Had Korean food for dinner for 3 and paid 4400 which is around 44 usd. The food is cheap and is good. The only downside is crammed up ambiance. But, fairly big for a place like Thamel. The nicest thing, it has parking.
