I stayed at the hotel for three days. The staff immediately offered to let me check into my room around 8 a.m. The hotel is located in the center of Thamel. The room was clean but needed some cosmetic renovations. The bed linens were white, there was a kettle, air conditioning, and hot water. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast. The staff was friendly. They helped me call a taxi. I asked for a late checkout, and they accommodated me. I was satisfied with my stay. Thank you.

Hotel was in a very cold and humid location and its rooms were very dark. Bathroom sink's drain was broken, so water was flowing all over the bathroom floor. And there was no facility for Hot water. I don't recommend it for people travelling there in winter. Even if my booking was for 7 nights, I could not stay their for more than a day and had to switch hotels. And I could not even get any money refunded, but it's ok.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Thamel!! I loved how it was tucked away from the main street, as it was more private yet still seconds away from all of the shops nearby. The owners were incredibly nice and made sure that we had everything we needed. They were so warm and welcoming to us and it made the entire atmosphere so much better! The rooms were spotless, and the beds were so comfy and clean. My friends and I needed a place to stay last minute after trekking, and we couldn’t have asked for a better one. With the hospitality, cleanliness, and convenience of this hotel, we highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Thamel 🙌

Kathmandu is a stressful city with a sad underbelly. At the Green Horizon, you're removed from it all and greeted with a cheerful smile every day. I got a lovely room with balcon, big bathroom and booked three days straight away. Also the food in the restaurant is cheap and delicious. Green Horizon is a place to relax. Would come back every time.

I really have a good memory here, the owner and the staff here are so nice and friendly, willing to help, the everyday warm welcome really makes me feel like home, and the room is just fine, also I love the breakfast, you have a lot of choices, everything is good here ~ thanks so much, I will come back and live here again!
