Kathmandu, P9J9+CQR, 6 Boudha Road (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The front desk staff were very welcoming, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the hotel facilities were complete.
The swimming pool of the hotel is the highlight. You can choose your own breakfast. American and Indian breakfasts are both very good. The hotel is affordable. It would be better if you ask the guests if they want a non-smoking room~
Great accommodation, very relaxed and friendly environment. Staff members are extremely professional and cater to all of guest's needs. One of the room service members, Aakash Shrestha was probably the most caring, helpful who personally ensured all my food requirements were met.
Will definitely stay for future stays when visiting Boudha, Kathmandu, Nepal
We made our trip to Nepal with our 3 months old boy and stayed in this hotel for 13 days. The best part that we got is the respect within the staff. They are very respectful, helpful and friendly to us and within coworkers too. I don’t remember all of their name( my bad) but their picture is in my mind. My 3months old boy got lots of love❤️. I have stayed so many good hotels during my business trip...
Stayed again 2 nights here what an awesome experience!
All the staff are so professional, helpful and friendly. Well managed everything 🫡
Price absolutely appropriate.
Cleaning no questions absolutely perfect.
Well managed .
Professionalism by staff high standard.
Location a bit inside than city. However if you love peaceful space, want to spend good time with your loved ones this is the place....
This was one of the best places I stayed in Nepal. Everything was great from the breakfast to the lovely pool and gym
The food was wonderful and the staff were extremely accommodating. I could not ask for more. Thankyou for a comfortable and welcoming place.

We had a wonderful stay at Traditional Comfort Hotel in Nepal. The staff was extremely warm, polite and always ready to help.
A special mention to Luiza — she was incredibly kind and caring. She shared a beautiful bond with my daughter, and her positive attitude truly made our stay more memorable. It felt like home because of such lovely staff members.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort...
Absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms and spaces were beautiful, rooftop bar offers great panoramic views of the city with cocktail and mocktail options, and the breakfast was delicious and prepared fresh. My favorite part was the coffee- each latte was made with an espresso machine and beautiful latte art on top. Only notes- shower tends to flood a bit and if you are over 6 feet tall, beds are a...
Nice boutique hotel on a quiet side street. Spacious clean rooms. Excellent food and very good breakfast buffet in the lobby restaurant . Rooftop bar and dining was also very good. Attentive friendly staff. Highly recommend. Would like to stay there again.
A modern Hotel with all amenities. The rooftop bar/restaurant area had 360deg views over the rooftops of Kathmandu. The hotel is located 30 mins walk from the Tourist area.
I last visited in October 2023, so this review reflects an earlier experience.
The entrance to the accommodation may be slightly tucked away from the access road. The rooms and amenities are elegant, and offer elevator access. Their breakfast service is worth experiencing. The architectural style adds to the relaxing ambiance—perfect for unwinding after our hikes in Nepal, especially before departure...
A very beautiful hotel. Nice location. Good views and food on the roof terrace.

Helpful and friendly staff was what stood out in particular!
The service was excellent. The breakfast was also plentiful and thoughtful. The hygiene was good. It was also very quiet. Breakfast was accompanied by eggs to suit all needs, including fried, boiled, and scrambled eggs. Hot milk was also available. It's a 10-minute walk from the tower.
Everything was great, well suited for families.
The room was a bit small, but fully equipped and well-lit. Hot water was plentiful. The location was about a 20-minute walk to the stupa. The hotel is situated on a slope in a residential area. A taxi driver would need about a 10-minute ride. Breakfast was plentiful, but it was a Western-style breakfast.
Best hotel I stayed in Nepal
The best stay in Nepal ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. Staff are super nice and helpful. Close to the Boundha, just few minutes walking
We stayed here with a group both before and after our 20-day trek. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and assisted in finding our way around the city. Via Via Boutique hotel is located in a quiet suburb of kathmandu. Walking distance from boudhanath and with a short taxi ride you are in the busy city center (Thamel and Durbar square). Friendly staff, great hospitality. Everything you need when you are tired after a long trek as the Everest base camp trek. Restaurant, spa and other features are excellent. If you need to relax, take your time to stay in the spa for a relaxing massage.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Thamel Park. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Thamel but still peaceful and quiet. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. A great choice if you’re staying in Kathmandu!
Wonderful central hotel hotel. Great cocktails on the roof with beautiful views of the city. Excellent buffet breakfast. Walking distance to all the tourist locations 🙂 Friendly staff. Clean and great hot shower. Free drinking water. Aircon.
Clean room, good breakfast, high cost performance
Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, staying in two types of rooms, each with its own advantages. good! ️The room is small and I couldn't open two suitcases, but the hygiene is good. The garden room is large, but the hygiene is a little inadequate
My second time at Thamel Park. Thamel Park is located in Thamel. A busy and quite noisy area, but the hotel is quietly with a nice garden with lots of trees and flowers. A perfect place to eat or have a drink. There is also a rooftop restaurant with nice view over Kathmandu. The rooms are are nice and clean. The staff are very frindly and attentive. Perfect location with so many restaurants just outside the doorstep. The morning breakfast at the courtyard is amazing. The food tastes so good and the portion was so big. A lovely hotel with the most friendly staff. Very welcoming and helpful in all aspects of making us feel comfortable. One recommendation is to make sure that you get a room facing the courtyard as the sound proofing of the hotel is not great and the neighbours can be loud pretty much the whole evening. I wish the hotel would improve this for all other guests.
Best pizza in Kathmandu just love the place so peaceful and the pizza was just awesome. This is my go to place in for pizza in thamel
My partner and I recently concluded a wonderful stay at the Dalai-La Boutique Hotel, and we can confidently say this is the best boutique hotel in Thamel, and quite possibly, all of Kathmandu. Absolutely fabulous hotel. We booked for a couple of nights and then it became our home away from home. The staff is beyond exceptional - they will do whatever is in their power to make your visit smooth and enjoyable...
It's super good. It's only a three-minute walk from the tower, which is very convenient. The room is clean and fresh, and the key is the service attitude is superb.
The local tour arrived one day in advance, so I stayed one night by myself. This is a relatively new homestay, which is relatively quiet at the end of the alley, but it is difficult for taxi drivers to find it. The decoration is relatively new, and the room is similar to the picture. Because there is a double bed, it is not spacious. There is only a small table and a shelf in the room, and there is...
Excelente Boutique hotel in Kathmandu
Best service in a super location in Kathmandu in the Boudha area. Their team provides with first class super friendly service and the price is unbeatable.
The room is very clean and the landlord is very friendly. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the Boudhanath Pagoda, which is very convenient whether you want to get up early or experience the pagoda at night.
In the morning, the landlord will carefully prepare breakfast for every guest, and Chinese service is also available.
The only drawback is that it is a bit cold to sleep at night in this season...
Such a cozy little place with the friendliest staff and the perfect location for a one night layover since the airport is close and yet you are steps away from Boudhanath Stupa. The neighborhood is lively with lots of shops and restaurants but the hotel is in a secluded place.

Booked one bedroom apartment but got junior suite instead. Apparently it was under renovation. Could have let us know earlier but only found out before check in.
“Had a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!”
Great place to stay if you’re in to luxury and antiquity.
The building has a lot of history , and its features are well preserved. The rooms are clean and tight. Loved the freshness of diner and same counts for breakfast!
The Nepali local coffee in the French press was tasty.
The staff is wonderful and well mannered ! A true delight to stay here !
Very disappointed with the service, there were no hot water in the toilet, (broken/not working), then AC stopped working at evening and despite complaints they didn't change room straight away, rather kept us in the same room till next day while they tried to fix the AC. Other stuff were very helpful. Good breakfast, loved their complementary airport pickup.
The stay was great, to say the least. We actually decided to extend our as our plans changed and looked no further. The staff were very flexible with our late night flight and the ensuing late check-out and assisted us price-wiae.

We were walking around the area and popped in for a snack and drinks. Had a chatamari, a classic Nepalese dish, which was delicious. The staff were polite and courteous. Nice place to sit and people watch. Thought the prices were very good value. Spoke very good English.
This is a must stay for anyone who wants to stay in a historic building, steps from Durbar Square. But the real appeal for me was the wonderful people who work there. They always had a kind word, offered suggestions and help whenever I needed it and made me feel like a part of their family.

The hotel is nice and I have stayed here and recommend it. But I want to write about the best meal in the city at the restaurant here: order the Veg Thali Set. It will blow your mind. It is amazing. Do it. Do it.
The Pema Boutique Hotel is, value-wise, one of the better hotel deals in Boudha. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Room service is fairly prompt. The lobby restaurant does a few dishes really well, for example, its vegan/vegetarian/meat khana sets, and at a very reasonable price. When I left personal items behind, they called me right away on my mobile device. So while it is not a five-star hotel...

Loved the hotel. Amenities were excellent. Huge bathtub, hair dryer, spacious bed and room. Location is superb. Near to all Thamel area but on a quiet road. Courteous staff. Nothing to complain. Only issue is lift is not working in the hotel but I choose to ignore that due to other positive points. Last but not the least, absolute value for money.
It feels like the hotel once offered a premium stay, but over time, maintenance has been neglected, and it shows.
The chair needs repair; the overhead lights and bathtub drainage were not working properly; and amenities such as handwash and shower gel should have been provided.
