This hotel is well situated in Pokhara a few minutes from everything that makes Lakeside the place to be. The price to quality is difficult to beat. The rooms are very well kept and clean. Some rooms offer a lovely view of the mountains. The Management team goes beyond just providing hotel services but will help you in making your visit to Nepal memorable.

Hotel Orchid has been our number one choice to bring our guests for the last 9 years. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owner and manager became relied upon resources when traveling in Nepal leading to valuable friendships we value.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Breakfast was good, with several options to choose from: continental, Indian, or smaller plates like porridge with banana and other items. You can also order lunch and dinner at the hotel, which were also very tasty. The location is perfect – the lake is only about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel manager is extremely kind and really put a lot of effort into making our stay enjoyable. He helped us arrange a bus ticket and assisted with several other things. Truly exceptional service! The only reason I didn’t give five stars for the rooms is that we saw a few cockroaches. If that doesn’t bother you, you can easily consider this a five-star rating! Greetings from Germany

Hote is half a block back from the lake front , a shop across the street, many cafes an restaurants close by as well as boat hire on the lake, also an in-house restaurant which had good food , a lift was a huge bonus as was the balcony with a view of the mountains

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious and clean, and they provided instant coffee and tea.
The shower water was kept at a comfortable temperature, so it was very comfortable!
I'd love to stay here again if I come to Pokhara☆

The service attitude of hotels in Nepal is very good. Every staff member greets you with a smile and responds to your requests. Orchid Hotel is not far from Phewa Lake and the lively streets, which is convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. The rooms are clean inside and outside, especially the rooms with balconies, which are very comfortable to live in. You can also see the icebergs in the distance, and the scenery is beautiful. There is an elevator. In short, I had a good time and stayed comfortably.

I had booked the room online for 2 people i.e. 2590 INR while the offline guest got the same room 600 INR Lakeside is surrounded by many Hotels and there is an upliftment of cheap rooms. Hotel owner indecent behavior with the guest👎👎👎

The hotel owner scammed me, the fare per passenger of Pokhara bus tour is 400 Nepalese rupees, we got the husband wife ticket for 800 rupees per person paid for double the money! The bus ticke paid by me for 2 people is Rs 1600 whereas it is Rs 800!

They cheat by speaking sweet, be careful before staying in the hotel! nearby hotels are quite good

Online price is very high of hotel online price is more than double!
I will never suggest travelers for stayed this hotel cause hotel owner scammed me!

Comfortable, affordable and conveniently located near the lakeside and within walking distance of the main shopping areas. The guesthouse is family run and the hostess is a very kind and friendly lady, she and her children were most helpful. The accommodation was basic but adequate, WiFi was fair and shower was hot. Would stay again!

Great little guesthouse tucked on a quieter street of Lakeside Pokhara. The rooms were simple and clean, and the bathrooms were full functioning with hot water for showers. We did have some small ants in our bathroom coming out from a hole above the sink, but they were harmless and we were not bothered by this. Good bang for buck if you are a low maintenance backpacker. Beautiful views from the balcony and rooftop. Cannot comment on the bakery as it was never open during our week long stay. Best of all, Chiran and his family were so friendly and open to help with anything.

We were in Pokhara for 6 nights at OYO. The place was very clean and tidy and the staff were extremely helpful whenever we needed anything. On top of this, the breakfast in the hotel was cooked to perfection. Would recommend staying here for anyone on a budget.

Booking was confirmed within 5 minutes. I got exactly the same room that I booked. That is something I liked the most. On top of that the staffs had a cheerful face, good guidance about the city and prompt service delivery. I also liked OYO boutique soap. Would like to know if I can get that outside.

The worst hotel I have ever lived in. The staff are very arrogant. The service is worse than even road side lodges. Some instances:

I asked the AC is not working, got reply - why do you need AC in Nepal.

I asked the kitchen staff to make 2 omlets, the staff prepared one and when I asked for the other, got reply - Why are you not telling at a time and you are confusing.

The kitchen didn't had glasses to drink water.

In washroom, the hand shower is not working.

After all these, when we went to the manager with all these, he said please don't be smart regarding the AC. If you don't like then you can check out.

We at that point booked another hotel and checked out from this even if we had a booking for 2 days.

I will never recommend anyone to ever visit this filthy hotel. If there have been a zero or negative rating this hotel deserves it mainly due to the behaviour of staff and the attitude of manager.
