As a solo traveller for the first time, I felt I was in a home away from home, where no problem was too inconvenient. All levels of staff were always accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this amazing hotel. The staff is very nice and caring. The rooms are big and comfortable, very clean and nice. Everything was perfect But i requested a birthday cake for my wife and management said they would arrange it but till the day we left. No one responded nor tried to arrange it and front desk didnt even know about it. Communication was horrible.

It’s a nice pretty hotel fronting the Phewa Lake . We stayed in Peacge plaza for 3 days and they treated us very well, always with a smile and very eager to help with whatever we needed. Hotel Bodhiz is very near to Boudhanath Stupa. A short walk out of the hotel and you are there. The staff are very friendly. Good and tasty food. Especially their Dahl. For the price I paid I am very happy with the place. Recommended for easy travellers.

This hotel is the perfect place for the Buddhist pilgrims, as it is situated near boudha stupa. As soon as you step out from hotel, there lies the majestic Boudha stupa. If you guys have any functions or marriage you can keep your guest here with no tension they provide a good care of them. But they don't service room service after 12am, so i will give them 4 star.

My 7th stay at Green Mandala Inn, absolutely love everything about it. Fantastic views, great food, with a good variety to choose from. Rooms and public areas are very clean. The ******* Buddist family who run the inn are charming, friendly and helpful, always a pleasure to see them. A few minute's walk from the Kopan Monastery.

This place is a beautiful and clean family run hotel nestled amidst the greenery of kapan hills. The owners are all nice, helpful, and polite people. Got a recommendation from Pokhara so we visited the place. It needs renovation. It's ambiance is ok ok. You can choose this if you are planning for a short stay of a day or two... It's a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. The staff is really nice and helpful. But it's very noisy at night. There's a night club not too far and as I write this it's 4:00 am and the music is still going on. The beds are as comfortable as a 2x4 but I'm told it's the norm in Nepal. Loved the hotel. Amenities were excellent. Huge bathtub, hair dryer, spacious bed and room. Location is superb. Near to all Thamel area but on a quiet road. Courteous staff. Nothing to complain. Only issue is lift is not working in the hotel but I choose to ignore that due to other positive points. Last but not the least, absolute value for money.

It feels like the hotel once offered a premium stay, but over time, maintenance has been neglected, and it shows. The chair needs repair; the overhead lights and bathtub drainage were not working properly; and amenities such as handwash and shower gel should have been provided. Location-wise, it is in the center of Thamel and by the road, so vehicle and crowd noise are noticeable.

Staff behaviour was good but their lift was not working as our room was on fifth floor. Restaurant food was worst and very expensive

I am a Canadian that was in Nepal when the pandemic started. While frantically trying to get back to Canada my friend and I needed a place to stay in Kathmandu. We ended up staying at this hotel for two weeks and I truly don't know what we would've done without them. The staff made us feel safe and cared for during such a stressful time.
