Good location. Better choice if you prefer a proper hotel than the old apartment in the city, for about same or less than money.

We had a comfortable stay in Marriot, the room was spacious and the location was close to every where, the service was great as well

This hotel is more like a 4 stars hotel instead of 5 stars, cleanliness can be improved, and I’d suggest the hotel to do some regular touch up, our toilet door was cracked. The toilet bowl cover still has some stains probably from the previous guest, gross. No in room slipper was provided in the room, even the ‘privacy please’ sign was not provided (I think the housekeeper missed out)

Readily available service from the front of house and reception staff.  Polite and courteous, little things like umbrellas came in handy with the change in weather.  Great selection of food at breakfast and helpful staff again.  Only thing that was missing was that extra personal touch.

This is still my go-to choice for value in Amsterdam. It's convenient for getting everywhere, and I'm already super familiar with the surrounding area. Plus, I really love De Pijp, so I'm hoping to stay here again next time!

I arrived in hotel 2pm my room is not ready its ok normal 3pm is the check in time. The hotel is good location. However does not meet normal Marriott standards. Feels like a cheap two star hotels. The bed is ok but infrastructure is old. During the stay, it is strong wind outside and all the windows are shaking creating noise all night … only recommend to stay if weather is good or you need to be next to station.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at for this price range. The front desk first assigned a room that was already occupied, then the replacement room had unusable power outlets, and the final room was missing slippers and bathrobes. Beautiful hotel from the moment you walk in the doors rooms are well presented clean and a good size for Amsterdam, my only issue was the mattress toppers were beyond worn and all bubbley which made it feel like the bed was full of crumbs which made for a sleepless night, other then that the the staff were as friendly and warm as could be which just added to the hotels overall charm.

The Sofitel Legend Hotel, while the building itself is old and of okay quality, suffers from subpar room decor and maintenance, making it unworthy of the price. Just for your reference!

Overall, this stay was just average! The hotel boasts a fantastic view, and the surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the window offered a wide view. The front desk staff were reasonably friendly and recommended nearby attractions.
