Best location and clean. Friendly staffs

We were lucky to stay at this Swissotel in Amsterdam. When my passport was lost, they went above and beyond to help me find it including letting me to back to the room after check out to look for it, talking to neighboring hotels, and checking security cameras. We will forever be indebted to them for that extra effort. Aside from that, the gym is well-equipped but has a low-medium amount of foot traffic. The room is also comfortable with a heating system that works well. Thanks to the team at Swissotel.

Located 10min walk from Ams central station and at the centre of the old town, it’s convenient to get to lots of the touristy spots like the dam plaza, red light district and commuting is easy.
We were warmly welcomed by Rob from the hotel and he could share good recommendations of whereabouts of the city. Very grateful for the hospitality.
The room itself is spacious and quiet even the hotel is located at the centre. Would recommend this to other travellers!

Edwardo gave us a very warm welcome. Gym was sufficent for my husband. Location is very convenient.Only dissatisfaction is probably the towels. They were rough!

Great location and staff, but poor cleanliness
I liked this hotel overall, mainly because of its fantastic location right in the center of Amsterdam. It was extremely convenient for walking around the city, and all the main attractions are very close by. The staff was friendly, multilingual, and helpful with everything. They gave us great recommendations on where to go and even lent us an umbrella for the rain.
Our room on the 4th floor was very spacious, especially by Amsterdam standards. However, the cleanliness was a major disappointment. The room was poorly cleaned: there was a lot of dust, the closets were dirty, and the coffee machine was so filthy that we didn't even want to use it.
My overall impression is not bad, but due to the lack of cleanliness, I would not stay at this hotel again.
