The good thing about is the central location of this hotel. Our rooms were on the third floor. Beware the stairs are steep and treads are narrow. My advise is to bring a small luggage or a small overnight bag. Have breakfast elsewhere. This hotel could use a make over. Sofa in the reception looks tired and worn.

Terrible experience. When we went to bed, one of the pillows , and that side of the bed, smelled like dirty feet. No one available after hours, so I had to turn some of my clothes into a pillow and turn the mattress around. They basically didn’t clean the bed, I guess. In the morning I brought the pillow down to reception, but she couldn’t do anything except give me the managers email address. I emailed several times and messaged through the booking platform, but received no response at all.
I can overlook the shower valve that didn’t work, the mediocre breakfast, and even the mold in the bathroom. But the bed needs to be clean, at the very least. Responding to messages is also the very least they could have done.

The location is very convenient, and the accommodation itself is very spacious. That being said, there’s an absolutely unacceptable security issue at this property.

I stayed in a studio and, on the final day of my stay, I discovered that the physical key provided to all guests to unlock the building's main front door also unlocks the private guest studios. I have recorded a clear video as undeniable proof of this.

This total lack of access control means that any guest (or anyone in possession of a main entrance key) has unrestricted access to every single private dwelling in the building. There is zero privacy, and your personal safety and belongings are completely unprotected.

I have filed a formal complaint with Booking.com providing the video evidence, and I am considering reporting this massive violation of hospitality safety standards to the local authorities in Delft.

Until the management completely replaces the lock system and provides unique, secure keys for every private room, I strongly advise against staying here. You will not be safe.

Booked a room for 4 nights in this hotel although for us the name was La Noire. Anyway we got a small room with view on the Oude Delft and Binnenwatersloot on the second floor. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom modern. There was also a staircase up to an attic with a small fridge and table and another double bed (no sheets as we booked for 2 persons only). Because of the roof it was a bit difficult for me to go up as I'm 192 cm but I had no need to go there much.
All in all a good place especially considering the decent room rate and the location in the center of Delft. Trams and trains are a 5-7 minutes away.

I had already stayed at this hotel twice and wanted to return, but I had a very disappointing experience. In my booking confirmation it said I could cancel for free up to 5 days before arrival. My arrival was on Saturday, I cancelled on Monday, so I believed I was on time. Only later, through Booking.com, I learned that the hotel counts it differently – they don’t include the check-in day in those 5 days. This detail was NOT in my confirmation, which looks like a way to mislead and charge guests.

I cancelled because my friend suddenly got sick and I didn’t want to travel alone. We planned to come back to Delft a week or two later when she recovers, which is why I called the hotel – to try to find a common solution and fix the situation. Unfortunately, the hotel completely ignored me – no replies to my messages. When I called, the receptionist said she was “not competent” to deal with it and that her colleague would call me back. Nobody ever did. In the end, I was charged €116.

Very irresponsible and absolutely unprofessional – zero willingness to cooperate or find any solution. Just ignoring a guest completely. Bravo to the manager, a team truly worth applause. I will return to Delft soon, but never again to this hotel. I hope the €116 was worth it, because they lost a loyal guest.

Attic room was large. No AC so open windows let in noisy drinking crowd sounds at 2 AM. . .Stairs narrow steep winding very short foot area--dangerous. No help taking luggage to attic room. Toiletries very tiny, insufficient for 2 people. No indication of WiFi code in the room. No tea bags supplied w the kettle.

We booked our stay for June 2025, in January 2025 based on it being an air conditioned room Their website and all reservation services state that their rooms are air conditioned. Upon arrival the registration desk stated that they had no air conditioned rooms and had not had them for some time. We cancelled the remaining dates on our stay and found another location.

Great location near it all! Staff was amazing, room was roomy, bed was comfortable - would stay again!

This hotel could really improve with some easy changes. They only give you coffee in the room on your first day. That makes no sense!! They don’t replenish toilet paper, Kleenex or empty the trash when they make up your room. We had to ask for more toilet paper. The towels are thin and old and so are the bed linens. The chairs are stained. General maintenance isn’t addressed, throughout the hotel. Too bad because it could be a really charming hotel with minimal effort.

Centrally located next to a canal of Old Delft, we got a studio with a kitchenette which we used to fix breakfast. Very nice overall. We were in the annex 1 street over, so I can't comment about the main hotel.
