Nice hotel.
Unfortunately for me the pace in which the staff run around the bar even when not busy shows a lack of experience and ruins a relaxed environment.
The young bar manager seems to have his staff on edge. Not a pleasant bar to sit at even with low traffic.

An OK hotel I visit often on business travel. Restaurant for dinner is surprisingly good and the staff there are also polite and mostly attentive. Breakfast is mediocre with something that pretends to be scrambled eggs but most probably came from powder in a bag. Some of the rooms are in bad need of renovation. The air in the rooms is quite dusty as I guess the carpets haven't been properly cleaned ever.
During my last stay the toilet in my bathroom was in a disgusting state - covered with dried up urine stains and excrement leftovers. The water cups were obviously dirty with leftover toothpaste. I raised this with the reception the next morning but as I came back again late in the evening nothing had changed. I checked out the next morning and wanted to mention this again but the receptionist didn't ask me how my stay was 🤷‍♂️ I guess they can check the photos here.

Extremely clean and nice hotel at a convenient location. Loved the inside decor.

Nice hotel, 2 minutes walk to Blijdorp Zoo main reason for booking here.
Shame that our room is dusty.
The shower tap is difficult to adjust into right temp. Water flows are strong.
Room is sound proof w/c I loved.

If you're ever staying in Rotterdam and have a car to get around Holland, this place is perfect. Family friendly, quiet, beside the zoo and lots of parking. Food was great, rooms are super clean and would stay again.

We were visiting family all over Holland and this place looked good enough. It was better than expected.
