Very comfortable stay. The hotel is situated in an ideal central location close to everything. Whilst the hotel’s decor and rooms are quite dated, the feel was cozy and had a comfortable sleep.

This was an awesome location hotel and loved that it included free breakfast with as expensive as Norway is this definitely took one expense off our minds. Was in a good location to food, the Oslo train and bus station and more. Also across the street from a little store for those late night munchies

Had a very nice pizza in the restaurant. Buffet breakfast was great. Proximity to the Christmas Market was excellent. Staff were awesome. Our initial room was too light and noisy for us but the receptionist couldn’t have been more accommodating about moving us to a quieter room at the back of the hotel.

I got upgraded and the room was excellent. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is also great. People at the reception have been very welcoming and available, especially Mathilde. Highly recommended.

A lovely stop over Room was simple but what we needed for a night's stop over. The breakfast was amazing so much choice and really sets you up for a day.

The roomt assigned was on the first floor facing the street, which made it somewhat noisy. Trams pass by at regular intervals, and the sound is quite noticeable. There were even trams running after 2 a.m., which might not be ideal for light sleepers. Apart from that everything was great.

We were extremely impressed with our stay at the Hobo hotel. Honestly I didn’t know of the hotel prior to our making reservations and picked it because it was on the list the porter used to transfer our luggage. We couldn’t have picked a nice for our stay in Amsterdam. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, clean and modern in its decor.

Oslo isn’t cheap by any means but this was great value. Clean, safe, thoughtful and convenient. A fantastic place with a really kind and welcoming atmosphere. Genuinely, it makes such a difference when the staff care and are pro actively welcoming and kind, highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed three nights. Should be a great place to stay; helpful staff, pleasant decor, good breakfast, walkable to city centre. But, across the street (Eilert Sundts Gate) is what appears to be a student house; whoever the occupants are, they were very noisy with loud music late into the night, shouting and singing until the early hours. Even with the windows shut it was difficult to sleep.

Not the hotel itself, I went there to eat in café, because they have had such a nice buffet. Very nice and clean. Staff is helpful and polite. Meal times are short. The restaurant is open for about an hour and a half for each meal. You snooze you lose. The food is taken away exactly on time, so don't be late. Check-out at 10am is a bit early.

The train was not running, so I had to take a shuttle bus. The scenery on the mountain was beautiful. The next day I walked down to the city and the scenery along the way was also beautiful.

It’s a great hostel! It’s worth booking a stay with breakfast included because the breakfast is fresh, delicious, and offers a good selection—clean rooms and showers, nice and warm inside the building. I really recommend it. :) Also, the hostel is on the hill, and when it's cold and snowy it's a great spot for sliding down.

Although it's a bit far from the city center, the price is very affordable. They have a shared kitchen and offer free breakfast. You can easily get to the city center from nearby bus stops or train stations. Overall, it's pretty good, I recommend it.

Location isn't bad but still a 10 min uphill walk, with your luggage. Using keyless website link to open door isn't a bad idea, but only if it works. I had to try many times to enter my room, sometimes very frustrating standing at the corridor. Great hotel! The rooms are really big, well heated and insulated. The bathrooms have heated floors. The entrance is a bit hidden away, if you’re walking from Oslo S, it’s past the barber shop. The room i stayed in, 402, could do with a microwave.

Absolutely perfect. I did a 3 days solo trip and chose this spot cause it’s so close to the city center and it was cute. Beautiful room & awesome having 24/7 front desk service. The room is clean and the cleaner is very nice and polite. Ventilasjon system is not good, so the window needs to be kept opened. But the noise from tram is very loud from early morning to late night if you live on the back side of the hotel.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is so central that you can easily walk to most places in the city. If you need to go further, there is a bus stop right downstairs, which is very helpful. Also, the room has a kitchen with comprehensive utensils. It was very convenient for cooking my own meals during the stay.
