Our hotel room was lovely and the hotel staff were very helpful.

I'm quite satisfied with your hotel. The hygiene is good and the environment is nice. It's great that you offer both breakfast and dinner. However, I'm very angry that the glass door of the balcony can't be locked inside. I couldn't sleep well at night. We talked to the lady at the front desk, but she didn't solve this problem well. It's very regrettable.

Wonderful hotel, centrally located, staff very helpful. Clean and comfortable . Included meals , breakfast, afternoon tea and dinnner are outstanding value. Gave a 4 for amenities, only because the conditioner needed to be refilled and the sauna was not accessible the day I was there, very minor issues.

The hotel in Bergen is excellent, with a great location, good service, a generous breakfast, and delicious dinner. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of the fish market, Bryggen, and the mountain cable car station. Parking is a bit pricey if you're driving. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, right next to the airport bus station, and convenient for taking the light rail and transferring to buses. It's a 7-8 minute walk to the entrance to Mount Fløyen. It's a well-established hotel with a lot of character, and the rooftop terrace offers outstanding views. The food is average; breakfast and dinner are just so-so, but perhaps that's typical in Norway.

I had a dream holiday to Norway for my 50th and this was a wonderful hotel for my nights in Bergen. It is fairly central and close to the beautiful views of Bryggen. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast was the best I had my entire trip, it had a great selection and was cooked perfectly. I would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, had a room with Mount Fløyen had a glimpse of the nautical twilight and the sunrise on 23 Dec 25 morning was spectacular.

Rebooked this place after our first stay coz its beds are really comfy, and is strategically located to where we were supposed to pick up our rental car (3 min walk away). Value for money hotel! The self-service check in is pretty straight forward too.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Bergen. Location is great and it was nice to have a balcony to enjoy the sun. Breakfast was great and it is very efficient to provide different time slots for breakfast in order to manage the crowds. The downside was the standard of our room, as it was quite outdated and would need some maintenance.

This is the hotel I recommend most in Bergen. It is so comfortable to stay here. The 1500 includes 4 breakfasts. It also gives a family room with bunk beds and a double bed. The mattress is very comfortable. The bathroom tiles have floor heating. The breakfast is also delicious. The hotel was built in 1918 and has a history of more than 100 years. The interior of the house is still so comfortable.

For me and my wife location was everything. Hence I’m rating this place 5 stars. The place is literally 2 minutes walk to Bergen world famous fish market. Rooms are a bit small and ours at least, windowless but we knew that well in advance during the booking.

Good location but the room is very meh and service is kinda bad. Sliding doors with large gaps to the bathroom is odd and provide very little privacy. The hotel "reception" is the bar so you have to wait until they finish taking everyone's food and drink orders and some chatting before they would consider checking you in. The Det Hanseatiske was a very nice hotel. The room was like a cozy cabin. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location makes for easy walking to all the local areas. I won't fault the hotel but please beware on Saturday night the music from the club next door can be very loud into the late hours of the night.

The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. I had paid extra for a studio with sofa bed as myself and granddaughter didn’t want to share. The sofa needed pulling out and making up on our arrival. Furniture had to be moved to allow this as the room was so small. Not much space to move around. Slightly disappointed by the size of the room when the sofa was out.

The hotel is located in the old town, but the rooms are quite old and dated. We booked two rooms, both on the third floor (the equivalent of the fourth floor by Chinese/US numbering). Access was via a very narrow, winding wooden staircase, which made hauling luggage up incredibly difficult. I strongly advise guests with large suitcases or elderly travelers to avoid this hotel. This would have been a good information before reaching the hotel without being able to enter it. Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the metro station. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area. The front desk staff were very helpful; simply ask, and they'll gladly assist. Fire Alarm rang multiple times without any reason, imposter tried to enter the building. All the guests rushed out of the room. Two days later Police arrested a criminal at 10:00 PM from the room next to ours. It was very scary but the room was nice. A very popular pub is on the ground floor of the hotel, so a little noisy on the weekends.

It's a good hotel; Modern, comfortable, perfectly-located, great views in some rooms, good quality food... But the unfriendliness of some staff and general service makes it a bit worse.
