This is a good stay, well positioned in Zakopane. The rooms were spacious, and offered good natural lighting.

Only gripe was that the rooms tended to get reasonably hot, even with the windows open… some provisions like a pedestal fan, or AC would be nice.

Though I recognise the building is probably built for the Polish winter, thus it’s insulated to keep heat in.

We stayed at Hotel Boruta as a group of 14 during our corporate ski trip in February 2025, and we were truly impressed.

From the very beginning, the communication was prompt, professional, and highly accommodating. Despite changes in our group size on our side, the hotel handled everything seamlessly, adjusting the room arrangements without any issues or complications. The booking process was smooth, and we always received quick and helpful responses.

The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day on the slopes. One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast – every day, we were treated to a creative and varied selection of delicious dishes, which added a special touch to our mornings.

The hotel’s location is excellent, just a short walk from the center, making it easy to explore Zakopane. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating, always ensuring we had everything we needed. We also greatly appreciated the common lounge area near the rooms, where we could gather in the evenings.

What truly stood out was the thoughtful approach of the receptionist – instead of simply reminding us about quiet hours as 11 PM approached, she kindly invited us to continue our gathering in the restaurant, allowing us to enjoy our time together without disturbing other guests. She even provided extra glasses for us!

This level of hospitality made our stay not only comfortable but truly memorable. We highly recommend Hotel Boruta and will gladly return in the future.

This hotel lacks any kind of coziness or ambiance. Upon entering, we felt like we'd landed in a hospital or nursing home, partly due to the receptionist dressed entirely in white. Not a flower or plant in sight. The room was spacious, with new beds but old, worn carpeting. The dated bathroom, although everything worked. The breakfast was fine, but also quick. It's a shame, as it has a lot of potential, with its own parking and good location near the city center.

Nice rooms, balcony, clean toilet & good shower. 12 noon checkout is terrific! Helpful staff. Good heating. Convenient to station, centre & mountain. Amazing breakfast!

A good hotel for a budget holiday 👌🏻 Clean, neat, good location.

Good: The rooms are huge compared with newer hotels. The staff are friendly and efficient. I've stayed in many hotels in Poland and usually the staff at other hotels have a permanent frown on their face. In this hotel the staff actually smile and greet me, which is very rare in Poland! Nice location as well.

Bad: Hotel is old and looks it. No elevator (lift); you need to drag the suitcase up the stairs. Bathroom is so big but there is no counter area or even a shelf where you can put items. It would be very easy for the hotel to just add a shelf. NO air conditioning. When you sleep with the window open you can hear drunk people partying late into the night at some other hotel. Breakfast is really sub-par for what I would expect. Everything is cold. There aren't even scrambled eggs. NO fridge in the room. It would be really nice to have one.

Overall even though there are limitations the staff make it a good stay.

Very basic old fashioned hotel. Close to construction, where workers start to make noise at 6:30 am.
However, breakfast were good.
