Willa Mała Pieniawa in Polanica-Zdroj

A lovely hotel in a park, unfortunately surrounded by a parking lot. The rooms are nice and comfortable, but the overhead lights in the room and bathroom are terribly cold. The TV system is strange, as you have to obtain a code at the reception. The code isn't for the entire stay, but for, say, three days. It ends after one day, and you have to rush to the reception desk in Wielka Pieniawa because no one answers the phone. Breakfast is very generous, but unfortunately, not for vegetarians, as meat is king. Even fried or scrambled eggs are kept in a warmer along with the meat... there's always a hot lunch option, but not everyone likes breakfast. The coffee is okay. I don't recommend wet treatments at Wielka Pieniawa, as the tubs and treatment rooms are simply filthy. After the first time, I gave up and didn't dare go to the pool again.

The location, standard, and amenities of the rooms were a huge plus. However, during our stay, there was an unpleasant incident: a guest set off the fire alarm at 2:00 a.m., which continued for a good half hour. We couldn't reach the main reception desk because it was closed at that time. At 4:00 a.m., there was a repeat of the entertainment. In the morning, we learned that the reception desk knew exactly which room it was. So why didn't anyone intervene? Why did this happen again? Did the entire guesthouse have a sleepless night because of some idiots? If they can't abide by hotel rules, they should be removed.
