Cannot recommend this hotel. My family and I had such a bad experience here. Rooms were warm and stuffy and we couldn’t even open a window as there was no ability to open anything except the door. Secondly, the breakfast experience was terrible. The food was fine, but the kitchen worker was incredibly rude and unwelcoming to my family and me, yelling at us multiple times for trying to get breakfast early… then for mistakenly pouring water over the coffee drain dish, and then yet again for trying to get more food…at the BREAKFAST buffet. Everytime one of us stood up to grab something, the worker would come out of the kitchen, into the dining room, to watch us…incredibly unkind with poor customer service. Lastly when we tried to inform the front desk, the man just stared at us and did not say anything, he didn’t even acknowledge our complaint. I do not recommend this hotel and was highly disappointed by the lack of hospitality here.

The room was a bit sparsely cleaned. The TV was very old and small, which I didn't even turn on (I used my tablet, which was almost bigger). The breakfast was pretty sparse. The lady in charge of breakfast was hiding in the storage room with her phone and unreplenished things. The mattresses were springy and you'd be stuck all over the place. Overall, a hotel you could get by on at most. It's a 40-minute walk from the center, but there's easy parking nearby.

Very average. Location is ok but not great, room was clean but staff very unwelcoming, no one smiled or said hello, even when checking in and out. Breakfast was ok, no juice, but a good selection of mainly bread products. Strange way to treat guests in a hotel, by making them feel like an inconvenience. Won’t be back.

Old, damaged. Shows no respect to paying guest as it is extremely run down. Not clean, rests of former guests in leaking, unusable bathroom. Horror carpets, smelly, moldy windows. Extremely cold rooms. Beds are a torture. Stay away. Owners need to invest something! This is impossible.

I arrived earlier than check-in and actually just wanted to leave my suitcase there. But luckily I was allowed to check in 🥰 There were free maps at reception. I felt very comfortable. My girlfriend is staying the night after me on my recommendation:)

It is a slightly older property with worn furnishings and carpeting, but it is clean. The breakfast buffet is a bit sad compared to other hotels of the same price that I have stayed in on this tour of Portugal. The staff is polite and helpful.

A weekend stay to participate in a cycling event was my reason to stay at this hotel. A very late arrival meant a little fumble around to ignite the lights in my third floor room (the keyfob needs to be inserted of course!) and then sleep! Alas being located next to an electrical plant room meant it wasn't peaceful, fortunately I'd brought earplugs but really you shouldn't have to wear them in any decent hotel!? Given my schedule of events over the weekend I didn't bother asking to change rooms but in retrospect should have done. Only went for breakfast the once, it's basic and self service with so-so coffee alas but was better than nothing and perhaps it's best to go to a local cafe to fuel up for the day? Staff on duty were obliging and kept their distance unless required which was fine with me. The hotel is in a good location and save the 'electrical plant room noise intrusion' the rear facing rooms are otherwise relatively peaceful, just make sure you ask for a room at the furthest end of the corridor! This is a hotel which at one time would have been quite classy but alas lack of investment has seen its decline but for the money it serves its purpose and should be considered as such.

Simple, clean, basic hotel. Worth it for the location. 3 star hotel. Ideal for staying for 1 night. The room is spacious. Small simple. No hot. Eggs etc. Price adjusted to offer €68. Need for some maintenance in bathrooms, humidity, hallway carpets, etc.

Staff were friendly, and helpful. The common areas have been renovated but not the rooms. A brochure in our room stated that updating occurred in 2004. It is past time to upgrade the rooms. While housekeepers did their best to assure that bedding, and bathrooms were clean, the horribly stained carpets and chipped paint needs replacing.

I went there twice. The sushi is good, it tastes the same as other (overpriced) establishments. The difference is that this one is an all you can eat. Obviously, it is not the best or the most fresh sushi, but it is 10 euros all you can eat sushi. Some people give this bad reviews as if they were visiting a fancy japanese restaurant, it is 10 euros guys... you get what you paid for, don't expect more than that!
