I stayed in November 2018. It was a great hotel after a week of good hostels and 1 bad bnb.
The staff was courteous, the hotel is close to various attractions, and I enjoyed my stay. I will definitely return.

A very luxurious hotel near Trinity College and close to Merrion Square. The hotel is near Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.

Five of us went to see Riverdance in 3 arena and we stayed in the Davenport hotel .We got a very friendly welcome and the staff were very friendly and most helpful in every way. Our rooms were spacious and decor was lovely. Our beds were very comfortable. The food was delicious and we got as much tea and coffee as we wanted. We would definitely go back there again.

Perfect location near Merrian Square. Walkable to most areas on the south side of the river; and very close to the Hop-on-Hop Off tour bus. Breakfast was very good and the hotel bar was excellent. Paul, at the front desk, was so helpful and has a great sense of humor. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Dublin in the future.

Dropped in for lunch ordered the seafood chowder and a coffee. Boy o Boy will I be heading back for more. Absolutely delicious. A great place for lunch.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Davenport. Every staff member we interacted with was professional and friendly and helpful. Room was great, clean and roomy. Love the remodeling job. Thank you for holding our luggage. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices. We would definitely recommend to others. We have absolutely no complaints or concerns. Thank you for a lovely stay for our 1st time to Ireland.

Lovely and modern hotel in a nice part of town, with an above average breakfast. The renovated rooms seem to have been done in a pleasant glam/mid-century style hybrid, and feel fresh and upscale with good lighting throughout. Ours also had a Nespresso machine in it, which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, but the flat, hard pillows could definitely be improved upon. Very clean bathroom with waterfall and handheld shower heads. Parking is a bit confusing as the hotel doesn't offer valet parking, but there's a nearby secure deck for a reasonable daily fee. Our 9 day trip through Northern Ireland and Ireland included stays at 4 hotels, and the O'Callaghan Davenport in Dublin was definitely my favorite.

What a nice place. Fairly new upgrades. Comfortable rooms. Just wish their restaurant served dinner or at least the bar had heavy snacks later in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.
