Good Hotel. Room was clean. Bed sheet were clean and hygiene is maintained. Extremely helpful staff. Hotel located just 2km from major shopping malls at orchard road. We stayed in Family room which was very Big and bathroom with separate shower and bath tub.

Not recommended TV speaker is broken, a lot of weird noises, can’t hear anything. Air-con is not cold, and it blow dust out. Bathtub blinds is moldy. Insect found in the toilet entrance. No box tissue provided. Room not fully matching with the picture post. Quite a disappointing stay.

It was just okay, the experience wasn't that great. I only stayed one night and then moved out.

I think hotels need to work on early check-in and check-outs. I reached the hotel by 10am, and asked for early check-in however was told rooms are occupied and the earliest that can happen is at 2pm. Good location. Near Mistafa, City Square and Farrwr Park MRT. Will be better if there's bidet in toilet.

Decent sized rooms. Receptionist should be little more warm welcoming. Will maintained wash rooms. Peaceful stay for 4 days. Prefer to have a table and chair in the room to place the bags. It's relatively clean considering it's the cheapest in Singapore, but it's absolutely impossible if you plan to stay long. There is no service and the area is not really nice, but the connection to the city is not bad. The hotel is sufficient if you only sleep there and spend the rest outside.

An excellent budget hotel - I had a clean & light room with a comfy bed & ensuite bathroom plus aircon, TV, kettle & bottled water. And a fairly easy walk to both Circle & East-West lines too :-)

Did not stay as visit was part of work. Has an aged rustic feel but the hotel is neat and tidy. Prices are easily noticed and looked reasonable.

The room was tiny, I mean, really, really tiny. No breakfast and no windows. This week was the air show, so hotels were hard to come by. This place was barely better than a youth hostel. I paid over 6200 RMB for 4 nights.

The location is strategically just next to Bugis MRT which makes commute easier.  The WiFi in my room was really weak and most of the time I was disconnected even though it shows connected on my phone. Had a trouble to sleep at night due to the noise from the road since the window thickness is really thin.

We stayed at Village Residence Hougang for 2 months while our house was under renovation and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff were super helpful and facilities were good. Excellent location - plenty of food shops nearby but also quiet. A very relaxing atmosphere, especially by the amazing swimming pool. Rooms are very comfortable and Christa did a wonderful job of maintaining a very high standard of housekeeping. We will be back.

Location wise, its great. Patrons at the bar and restaurants downstairs could get quite noisy, but that is out of the hotel's control. You can walk to many tourist spots here, such as the merlion. The hotel is also located nearby an MRT. Overall, a nice stay. Small room but comfortable. Staffs are available through whatsapp and reply quite quickly. Would stay here again.

Lovely place. Lovely location. The only downside is that there is no lift, but their staff is happy to assist you if you inform them in advance of your timings.

The location was great, and the hotel was spacious, so I had a comfortable stay for six days. There was even a dryer, so it was easy to do laundry during my stay. Kitchenware was also provided, making it a great place to grab a quick bite to eat, like fruit or ramen. I plan to stay here again.

Location is indeed very convenient however if you are not fond of nightlife, this is definitely not a great one to choose. The room has no way to control the aircon, the vent is located directly above the bed area. I was cold, the reception offered an extra blanket, however i still was not comfortable having a vent above my head while sleeping.
