We have a transit flight at T2 but decided to book the Aerotel at T1 because of the twin room availability. Extended hour of stay can be requested upon check in.
The front desk service was very pleasant. The hotel is closed to the train access to other terminals. The room is very cleaned, spacious and the surrounding is quiet. I would definitely recommend the transit hotel to anyone who has transit flights to catch and need a place to rest.

The room has no way to control the aircon, the vent is located directly above the bed area. I was cold, the reception offered an extra blanket, however i still was not comfortable having a vent above my head while sleeping.

Really enjoyed staying there, perfect for a long layover. Would definitely stay there again. Also had option for a meal and even breakfast. 👌🏻 Shared bathroom was also nice and clean.

After being misguided by service members of the Airport immigration services we ended up on the wrong side of immigration (but there was no other way to get our luggage). Partially our mistake, not Aerotel but a ohonecall to the hotel was of no help at all. Thanks to Singapore we managed to get to the hotel though.
Upon arrival they let you choose to have either a free dinner/lunch or a free breakfast when you leave. We choose for dinner but when we checked out they tried to charge us for dinner. After a bit of arguing (instead of sorry) we needed to pay for the drinks. Fair enough, but 45$ for 3 small bottles of water and a can of soda??
All night long you can hear people walking and shouting through the corridor.
One of the light switches didn’t work so the only option to turn those lights off was to use the main kill switch.
And the smell in the bathroom was not pleasant.
Bad experience.

My daughter stayed one night with her child and said the room's air conditioning was too cold, and she couldn't adjust the temperature higher. She had to sleep in her down jacket, and she was worried about her child kicking off the covers and getting cold. She didn't sleep well at all, and had a very poor experience. I hope the hotel improves.

Having previously spent a 10 hr layover trying to sleep on the floor or a couch in changi and regretting it immensely I opted for aerotel.
Yes $300 AU is expensive for 12 hrs but, I checked in,slept soundly in a very quiet,clean , comfortable room. Had a shower, got served breakfast, and then caught the remaining 5 hr flight home feeling refreshed and ready to meet with family upon arrival.
Was totally worth it.

We are repeat guests at this hotel. Love the pool, watching the planes from our room and the convenience. Food is pretty good too by the pool. No complaints.
