By Singapore standards the room is affordable. It is rather small but that is what we get for this price range in Singapore. It is clean and tidy which really good. A bigger desk to work will be good but it is what it is. Overall I think it is a good deal considering the cost of accommodations in Singapore.

We knew this hotel was cheap and only 2 star but since we are only transiting for less than 10 hours to sleep, we thought to give it a go. Unfortunately on arrival into the lobby, the smell of damp and mould was already bad. We checked into the windowless room ("Suite") with extractor fans and the smell was worst. I couldn't sleep at all. Its totally unhealthy condition, i think they just painted over the mould. Unfortunately i wouldnt recommend to anyone especially those with children.

The room was great, the environment was lovely, and the soundproofing was excellent.

The hotel location is quite strategic as there are a lot of restaurants and cafes around there. The place is also near the airport.
The staff are polite and helpful during my check in and check out time, especially Hisham that handled my check in, he was really helpful to inform me where i can find food around the hotel as i arrived at 12am. The housekeeping Wan is also really good at cleaning my room and tidy up.
Overall i am satisfied to stay here and will come back again.

The bed and shower were excellent, and the reception staff were very responsive. Overall cleanliness was acceptable, though I did notice some ants in the room, and the housekeeping could have done a more thorough job cleaning the floor. Despite this, it was still a good overall experience at Venue Lily.

Arrived late at night, and there was still staff at the lobby. They even left green apples for guests. The room, though small, was very clean and well-equipped. There's a fantastic Western restaurant diagonally opposite and a clothing store across the street where I always find unique, well-designed pieces. This hotel offers great value for money in Singapore.

Booked this venue hotel the lily for my teacher who’s visiting Singapore from Thailand. Cosy small room enough to stay for one person. Joo Chiat is convenient and beautiful.

Delicious and authentic peranakan food, in a cozy setting. You can order many small plates, and munch for a while. Try the beef randan, ayam buah kelauk (amazing flavors), sayor lodeh and otak otak. There are a number of dessert options as well, we had the crushed ice with syrup, it was yummy.

We ordered catering for 20 pax and increased to 25 pax on the morning of event. Total no of guest 27.
In general the food was good except for the kuehs which was bad. We had to throw away the kuehs. Also, the overall portion for the food was just right with no
buffer for extras, especially so for the sotong goreng assam, I reckon the portion was for less than 20 pax.

Food was not bad but I won’t say they are excellent. The taste isn’t exquisite and you can definitely get better Ines elsewhere. But the Assam fish was the best of the lot.

The food is fast and authentic. The staff are friendly and patient. When we couldnt find our way, one staff actually asked for our vehicle number, came out to the street to look for us and direct us to the nearest carpark. It's the 1st time I've experienced such psrsonal service.

Authentic Nonya cuisine, we like the food very much. The staffs are very friendly too. Great eating experience.

Reservations are definitely encouraged! Busy national day lunch time! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is definitely very delectable. Quality is kept to a high standard, same as 2 years ago when I last visited.
