I highly do not recommend this hotel. This is probably the 10th hotel I have stayed at in Singapore over the past 1.5 years. And I didn't think that for that kind of money everything could be so bad. Starting from the politeness of the staff (it seems they just don't like people) and ending with the quality of the rooms. I rented two of the best rooms for two nights. After the first I moved out as soon as I woke up. The night was hellish. The ventilation was noisy and smelled, the windows couldn't be opened, the curtains looked like no one had ever washed them, and someone was biting me in bed. My wife ran away on the very first evening, refusing to spend the night. I was left alone with my son, because he had already fallen asleep. I don't know who writes positive reviews about this hotel. It's surprising how such a hole ended up in such a prestigious area.

The price is good. The bathroom has a water purifier which is really convenient. It is very far from the train station. I have children with me, so they can't walk.

This hotel was amazing. It had everything I needed as a solo traveller. Kettle tea & coffee in the room.
The room was a great size.
It was clean and had shower gel/shampoo.
There were bus stops just down the road. I caught the bus to the train station, which got me into Gardens by the bay. Transport is quite easy to navigate.
There are plenty of shops & restaurants along the road by the hotel (even a seven 11, which was super handy).
As a solo traveller, I found this hotel super nice & easy to get around.

Kinda have a doubt when We read a review about this hotel, where a man got disturbed by something and someone biting him, well, but when we arrived there, the atmosphere is soo calming, Japanese hotel? I got the vibes, my friend and I sleeps really well.
It feels safe, the location is so beautiful and feels like you can go back to the past, with the well preserved old building near the hotel.
There are many pubs tho, but we never heard any commotion nearby, we're on 3rd floor and the most inner corner room, maybe you can ask the same or closer to that room.
And one more thing, the important one, you can get an endless supply of drinking water, so this is sooo helping us to stock water first before the long journey around the city, better than buy a water bottle for SGD 2, bring your big capacity bottle water.
Have a noice stay.

The staff performance at the front desk during checkin of other guest, seems very slow, and as if she is not familiar with the checki process.
There is no in-house restaurant or dining area in the hotel. We had to go out to eat.

The humidity level is quite high in the room, since there is no windows. Deep cleaning is needed

I’ve stayed here several times already. Managed to get a room on the 2nd level this time where it was less noisy. However..should there be a mini refrigerator provided, it would be just ideal! Other than that..all good for a short stay. Thank you.

The food is fast and authentic. The staff are friendly and patient. When we couldnt find our way, one staff actually asked for our vehicle number, came out to the street to look for us and direct us to the nearest carpark. It's the 1st time I've experienced such psrsonal service.

Reservations are definitely encouraged! Busy national day lunch time! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is definitely very delectable. Quality is kept to a high standard, same as 2 years ago when I last visited.

Delicious and authentic peranakan food, in a cozy setting. You can order many small plates, and munch for a while. Try the beef randan, ayam buah kelauk (amazing flavors), sayor lodeh and otak otak. There are a number of dessert options as well, we had the crushed ice with syrup, it was yummy.

We ordered catering for 20 pax and increased to 25 pax on the morning of event. Total no of guest 27.
In general the food was good except for the kuehs which was bad. We had to throw away the kuehs. Also, the overall portion for the food was just right with no
buffer for extras, especially so for the sotong goreng assam, I reckon the portion was for less than 20 pax.

Food was not bad but I won’t say they are excellent. The taste isn’t exquisite and you can definitely get better Ines elsewhere. But the Assam fish was the best of the lot.
