The location is very close to the Metro, which is very important if you're travelling to Singapore. It is just a few stops from/to the airport, as well as to the main tourist attractions. There are many small restaurants along the street, if you're on budget. Personally, I buy fresh fruits in the morning across the street on my way out to tour the city. The price is unbeatable. The hotel is just a 3-star type of hotel, but clean, safe and quiet. The amenities are indeed very basic, but because I leave early and return late in the evening, this is not a concern to me. There is a curfew, or quiet times, I believe from 9pm to 7am, but reception is open 24/7. The staff are polite and accommodating. They let me borrow a phone charger when mine broke.

the location is perfect when we are heading to singapore exp for work as there is direct public bus.

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel 81 in Changi. The place is clean, well-maintained, and the staff was attentive and courteous. Shout out to Alan for his excellent service!
