The location, rooms, and breakfast were good, but the staff was quite slow.

A decent hotel with great views in the middle of Irkutsk...however, the one major issue that we had when we visited was that there was no cold water, only hot. This made taking showers pretty much impossible, and it was a little bizarre having steam rise from the toilet bowl every time you flushed it.

Very good place for the price. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but linen is fresh and comfortable, and the aircon is working well.

There is always a lot of visitors from China, and therefore quite noisy. Often do not work sockets/fridge/TV in the room. Wi-Fi always in a state of acute coma, have a modem or Internet simkarta. This really is a great place to stay in Irkutsk. Fantastic downtown location and within easy walking distance of many restaurants, cafes, shops. Small(ish) but very comfortable rooms with all the amenities one would expect from a 4 star in this part of the world. Tasty breakfast and a warm welcome with a voucher for a glass of wine.
