Excellent hotel. Whenever I came to St. Petersburg, I always chose the more popular five-star hotels, and in vain. Grand Hotel Emerald is an excellent hotel for a reasonable price. I recommend it!

The hotel is located 10-15 minutes walk from the Moscow railway station. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is a buffet with a large selection of dishes. There is a swimming pool and a fitness center. The staff is polite and sociable. Security: there is video surveillance on the floors, movement by elevator between floors and entry to the rooms by electronic card. The bathroom has everything you need: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cap, cosmetic set, hair dryer. The rooms are equipped with air conditioners with temperature controls. The hotel corresponds to its class 5 *.

Nice Atrium, for some reason it reminded me a bit of The Venetian casino in Macau) These are all the windows of hotel rooms facing the Atrium, which creates the impression that you are in some small cozy courtyard. There is a problem with the light, during performances there are no stationary spotlights that would illuminate the stage from above, and what they bring with them shines through the heads of the audience, since it is located behind (maybe this is a jamb of lighting installation, of course, and they should be installed on the stage, nevertheless)

- The hotel being a five star lacked all the essential it should have, in description swimming pool service was not shown as paid service but on arrival 6000 rubel for an hour was asked if we need to use the pool. The breakfast was average and was repeated each single day (6 nights I was here), the fresh juice had to made from oneself, rest no options for vegan was there. The basic amenity like water were given after asking again and again. Bad overall.

Quiet and pleasant hotel in the city center. Located on a busy street, but it doesn't feel like inside the hotel. The hotel has a chic hall for celebrations, receptions.
