I recommend occasionally allowing yourself time for breakfast at the Metropol Hotel – excellent service, a relaxed atmosphere, a buffet for every taste, and the coffee... beyond all praise – the best in Moscow!)

- The AC was not working properly, which was an issue in hotter days. Team needs to address the AC issue with manufacturer

+ Excellent location, well renovated with a friendly and supportive staff. Very much enjoyed the Shalyapin bar which we frequently visited for cooked ravioli with chicken for my daughter. Cocktails were superb, so was ambience. It was best value for money and a very enjoyable stay.- The AC was not working properly, which was an issue in hotter days. - Not even good morning from front desk plus the fridge had some hot dog which the room wasn’t clean properly and how it is 5 star and the room is quite old furniture , I booked one night extra although I arrived the next day morning to avoid being rejected for the early check when I asked front desk to have my last day to check out late like maximum at 14:00 i felt like i was bigging they only make it at 13:00 , the only help which I appreciated was the security deposit didnt ask for it since I didnt have robles but honestly not again really disappointed with 5 star rating

Everything is fine, I did not find any cons. Stayed for 6 days for work. Good restaurant with a great view. Rooms for 5+. I recommend.

The African American receptionist is one of the hotel's best assets. He entertained me with small talks while I was waiting for guests in the morning. Metropol is not only a hotel for a long time. This is a museum, this is an opportunity to join the alley of glory of those who were here. Their portraits are carefully exhibited on the 3rd floor. Live music in the evenings in the lobby. My favorite stained glass elevator! Well, it’s sinful, of course, but what’s there - while she was expecting guests, she rode on it like a child, squinting with happiness.

Of course the institution corresponds to its level. Meet at the entrance, help carry things. Customer oriented staff. Cozy interiors. Good location. Compliment upon check-in to the suite. Playing the harp for breakfast.

Of course this is a top notch hotel. The rooms are amazing. The staff are absolute professionals. Despite the reconstruction of the facade, you will not be settled in rooms with a view of the scaffolding. We got a room with a view of the CDM, right from the bathroom! The interior is luxurious, but without pomposity. Amazing breakfast ? In addition, we also ordered breakfast in the room, which was brought on a whole mobile table, as if the restaurant had come to our room. We checked into this hotel to prepare for our wedding day, including a small in-room/lounge photo shoot. The hotel staff unexpectedly congratulated us on this event by sending us a compliment with a bottle of champagne in the room, for which we are grateful to them. We also used the services of ironing wedding suits. Everything was returned flawlessly, perfectly debugged.

The hotel is in full swing renovation and restoration. Part of the premises is closed, the facade is tightened, it took a couple of minutes to walk from the elevator to our room. I liked the number. Beautiful, cozy, made in pastel colors, the windows overlooked the courtyard. All new. Great bathroom, very well thought out. There is also a separate, lockable toilet, shower, bathtub, two sinks, a mirror with a built-in TV. Mini-bar, a whole cupboard with dishes and various drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Cleaning is "excellent", there is also an evening service.
