Spacious, comfortable villas with private pools and ocean views, often praised as 'an absolute dream'. Excellent and attentive staff with personalized touches such as birthday cakes and welcoming service. Wide range of facilities including a well-equipped spa with plunge pools, sauna, and jacuzzi. Diverse dining options with high-quality food, especially the buffet breakfasts and Creole cuisine at Grann Kaz. Family-friendly amenities like a kids’ club, safe children’s pool section, and babysitting services. Complimentary use of bicycles and engaging island activities including turtle feeding and guided hikes. Food and drinks at the resort are considered expensive, with some guests finding meals bland or repetitive. Additional activities such as diving, massages, and boat transfers come with extra costs that can add up. Service quality varies, with some reports of unfriendly or lazy staff in food service and dive center. Limited ferry departures to the island can cause scheduling difficulties and the transfer cost is high. A small negative mention was the empty counter at Papaya Lounge failing to provide advertised fresh baked sweets.

Description

Niva Labriz Seychelles is a five-star resort established in 2006 on Silhouette Island, featuring 111 one-story villas spread across 400,000 square meters. Each villa is elegantly designed with natural wood, bright fabrics, and offers stunning views of the Indian Ocean, forest, or mountains from private terraces. Guests can choose from various villa types including beachfront options with private plunge pools. The resort provides six restaurants with four a la carte options, a pizzeria, and a bar. The distinctive Grann Kaz restaurant, located in a historic villa once owned by the Dauban family, specializes in traditional Creole cuisine. Facilities include a large open-air swimming pool, tennis court with lighting, spa center, fitness center, and free Wi-Fi. Children are well accommodated with a kids’ club, dedicated pool section, babysitting services (paid), and children's menu. Guests will appreciate the private sandy beach stretching 2.5 km with complimentary loungers and towels. Pets are not allowed, and check-in begins at 14:00.

Location

Niva Labriz Seychelles is situated on the eastern coast of Silhouette Island, part of the Seychelles archipelago. The resort lies just 20 meters from a designated sandy beach, offering immediate beach access. The island is known for its granite mountains and tropical jungle, with trails and protected areas nearby. The resort’s secluded location ensures a peaceful environment, yet guests have access to activities like hiking, diving, and cycling around the island.

Very nice resort. We had a beach villa which was an absolute dream. The food in the buffet restaurant is great (we had half-board). It was my wifes birthday while we were there and they even organised a small cake for us the night of her birthday even though they didnt know beforehand. We really appreciated this. The staff was great throughout our whole stay! Additional drinks and food are a bit pricey but they are transparent regarding the cost withouth any hidden fees etc. Drinking water was free. For us half-board was enough so that we didnt even really need to buy additional food or drinks.
The Spa area is beautiful and hardly visited so dont miss out on this!

I took my wife and toddler here a week ago for her birthday/babymoon and loved it! The service is great and everyone on the island took great care of us. The property was at capacity when we went but never had an issue with food or service. We had room 238, a king beachfront villa with pool. The food on property is quite expensive, which is to be expected and would be on par with costs and quality to Bora Bora properties. We did the Maldives last year and this is quite different, as the island is granite and much mount mountainous and has a jungle feel, where Maldives are just only beach. There is quite good hiking and diving, but because of the jungle, there are a lot of little small flies all over the place. They are harmless, but a bit of a nuisance.

My wife and I, together with our daughter, spent six nights at Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa on Silhouette Island. The resort on the island, which is mostly a National Park, surrounded by a marine park, and located between exquisite beaches and tropical jungle, with beautiful lush gardens, truly feels like paradise. Our king garden villa with king-sized bed, sofa, large walk-in shower, and outdoor rain shower, bathtub, air conditioning, seating area with desk, minibar, and coffee maker, was extremely spacious, comfortable and clean. Our villa, also had a large patio with loungers, table, and lovely garden views. The resort has many appealing facilities, including a stunning pool close to the beach, as well as a varied choice of bars and restaurants. The buffet breakfasts served at the Cafe Dauban Restaurant, with views of the ocean, were delicious with an extensive and varied selection of food. The Lo Brizan Bar next to the pool has a lovely relaxed social tropical vibe with good live entertainment. The cocktails and the pizzas were very good. Every day we made use of the complimentary bicycles which were new and well maintained, and we had great fun cycling around exploring the island. We also participated in the daily tortoise feeding sessions. The Aldabra tortoises live in a designated enclosure/sanctuary, and interacting and feeding the giant and smaller baby tortoises was a fantastic and enjoyable experience. During our stay, we went on an interesting and informative afternoon/evening guided hike to find and view “flying-fox” bats, and the rare and endangered Seychelles sheath tailed bat which we were fortunate enough to see. It was also fascinating and fun observing all the different interesting crabs on the island. My daughter and I went scuba diving with Labriz Dive Centre, who are on-site, and have well maintained equipment to rent. The six dives that we did were excellent, and we saw plenty marine life, including, sharks, rays, barracuda, turtles, moray eels, octopus, and lots of reef fish. The Eforea spa on the island is stunning and is integrated with the natural outdoor surroundings build among giant granite boulders and lush tropical forest. We made use of all the facilities, including the plunge pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. We treated ourselves to full body massages which were amazing and totally relaxing and invigorating. The staff, were extremely efficient, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that we were well looked after at all times, making sure that everything was handled perfectly to ensure a truly memorable stay. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Hilton Labriz, and definitely hope to visit again.

Absolutely gorgeous beach and forest. You basically pay for the views as the hotel’s facilities are a bit dated. Staff are all friendly and attentive but practically all activities are charged extra. Breakfast is repetitive. Good for a stopover during island hopping but staying do more than 4/5 days will probably bore you.

My spouse and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this beautiful resort. The entire stay was a truly memorable experience worth leaving a few comments as review.

To begin with, this isn't just a hotel - it’s a not too big group of villas, nestled on an island that is like a paradise. Throughout our stay, we genuinely felt welcomed and everything was handled very smoothly.

We were especially happy about the efforts for environment. We saw zero single-use plastic bottles during our entire stay. Drinking water was provided exclusively in reusable, sterilised glass bottles, and drinking water was easily available in resort.

We were also enjoying the dedication and warmth of the staff. We wanted to specifically recognize a few individuals who ensured our celebration was not just special, but genuinely unforgettable.

Starting with Saiful, who took such impeccable care of our villa. His diligence and attention to detail ensured that our private space felt fresh every day.

Our hike to lovely Anse Mondon was guided by Eli. His expertise and helpfulness during our hiking trip were invaluable, making our excursion both safe and wonderfully enriching. He helped us explore the stunning natural beauty around the resort with confidence and ease.

And finally, we want to give our praise to Charles and Naveen among others in the restaurants of the resort. They were the heart of our dining experience. Their exceptional service, attentive presence, and genuinely charming hospitality elevated every meal, turning our anniversary dinners into truly joyful and memorable events. They went above and beyond to make our celebration feel personal and delightful.

Only minor point of constructive feedback concerns the Papaya Lounge. We were looking forward to the promised daily selection of fresh baked sweets, but the counter was sadly unstocked and empty during our entire stay. It's a small detail, but ensuring this advertised amenity is consistently available would elevate the experience for guests that are leaving the resort, and that being one of the last moments to experience the hospitality of the lovely place.

All in all, thanks to the combined efforts of Eli, Saiful, Charles and Naveen, our 25th anniversary celebrations was everything we could have dreamed of and more. If you are seeking a truly lovely escape that allows you to fully relax and enjoy the wonders of nature, we highly recommend.

The best resort I've ever had the pleasure of staying in (and I've been fortunate to travel all over the world). The location is spectacular. The staff are fantastic. Special mentions to Muthoni, Nisanth and Boniface. Also the legend that does the omelettes for breakfast needs a pay rise (I cant remember his name!). The nice man who looks after the tortoises is also brilliant. The food is mostly excellent. Some of it is average but that is the exception. Portions in Sakura are far too large. Four Degrees is the best. This resort is exceedingly expensive, however. Expect to pay £2500+ a week for an average couple just on food and drink. The cost of the ferry is not justifiable and management must know they are exploiting people. Finally, the diving was very good. Sadly, the dive centre leaves a lot to be desired. The staff are largely very unfriendly. There is a lovely South African lady and younger German man but sadly the rest are uninterested. The diving is very expensive and the service received does not match the money paid. The dives felt rushed and there was a lack of emphasis on the environment and marine life. Room for improvement but not a lost cause as we still had a great time. Please stay here if you ever get the chance but don't be stung by the final bill. To have a good two weeks as a couple, do some activities and not worry about how much you eat or drink, expect to pay £10,000 all in. The service charge and tax added on drives the cost up considerably. Thank you Hilton, please look after your staff as they are phenomenal, but most importantly keep up your stewardship of what is one of the most paradisial islands on the planet.

A trip to the Seychelles is well worth spending enough time on this island, where you can enjoy the beaches, the sea, crabs, turtles, and all sorts of amazing animals and plants, allowing you to fully experience the natural charm of this African island.

Our stay at the Hilton on Silhouette Island was nothing short of magical. Accessible only by the hotel’s private boat shuttle (or by helicopter if you prefer), the journey itself sets the tone for the secluded and serene experience that awaits.

The resort is nestled in lush, untouched nature and sits directly on one of the most breathtaking beaches we’ve ever seen. What really stood out is how peaceful and uncrowded the entire island feels – it’s the perfect destination to unwind, disconnect, and recharge.

For families, this place is a dream. The kids’ club is outstanding – truly one of the best we’ve come across. It’s well-organized, creative, and gives parents a real chance to relax while the children are happily entertained.

If your budget allows, we highly recommend booking a beachfront villa. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves and stepping outside to that stunning turquoise view is an experience that takes your stay to the next level. It’s worth every cent.

Whether you're traveling as a couple or with children, this resort is a hidden gem. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Beautiful island location with stunning beaches and crystal clear warm waters to swim in. Accommodation was in spacious high ceiling villas with great bathroom facilities and outdoor shower alternative. Buffet breakfast served in one spacious restaurant, large bar near main swimming pool, evening meals in a choice of venues. Guests can use bikes to explore, visit spa and more remote beaches. A great place for couples, families and friends. Only drawback is that its the only resort on island, so you are captive audience.

Overall had a really fantastic experience relaxing at the Hilton Labriz. It’s truly a remarkable remote location in the middle of the ocean. The hotel is the only thing on the island. It has very “resort” vibes, but not really resort service. My reason for the rating is merely based on really lazy and unfriendly service. The rest was stunningly beautiful with a few notes below. We also learned this hotel is owned by someone but managed by Hilton (for now). This is the last year so if your Hilton Honors you may want to take advantage now. Room - We upgraded to a beach bungalow with a private pool and it honestly was fantastic. The bungalow was gorgeous and extremely comfortable. Beautiful bathroom, walked right out to the ocean. The bed was mostly comfortable with mosquito nets. The bathroom was spectacular with great views while bathing or showering. Our housekeeping service was very friendly. We were bummed we couldn’t remember his name because he was one of two friendly people at this resort. Which again is just strange. Food- Very disappointing. Expensive for what it is. We live in a foodie region of San Francisco and we don’t mind paying prices for good food. But the food here was so bland and boring while also being expensive. It had a very middle class resorty feeling. Unfortunately most of the food service was also extremely unfriendly. However we found one Kenyan server named Abel who was honestly so fantastic and so friendly and kind as well as attentive. He had the best attitude and was so engaging. We tried to request him everywhere we went. Boat Transfers Only one way to get here as it’s the only thing on this beautiful island for now. But $200 per person for a 30 minute boat ride seemed a bit excessive. You definitely go here to relax and nothing else. Which is Carly what we needed.
