Our stay at Carana Beach was perfect from start to finish. We were there from the 10th to the 15th of November, and everything exceeded our expectations. The location is truly stunning.
We booked a room without a private pool because we felt that, if we wanted to swim, we could simply use the main pool — and we preferred being right next to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful. The waves can be high at times, but when the sea is calm it’s a wonderful spot for bathing and snorkeling. On our last night, we even saw dolphins from the pool, which was absolutely amazing!
The villas are spacious, modern, and very clean, offering a gorgeous view of the ocean. Every day you receive two complimentary bottles of water and a refill of the Nespresso capsules. The room is equipped with a Nespresso machine and a water boiler, which we really appreciated.
The service was friendly and attentive. We found it especially nice that even the chef and the hotel director came by to speak with us and ask if we were enjoying our stay. Speaking of the chef — congratulations, because the food was excellent: fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. We particularly loved the Creole Night tuna salad.
The atmosphere throughout the hotel is wonderfully relaxed. It’s incredibly easy to unwind, and if you’re in a laid-back mood like we were, it’s the perfect place to read a book, take a swim, and simply enjoy the moment. Highly recommended!

Magical honeymoon from start to finish It was amazing, soooooooo wonderful and unforgettable! The team beautifully decorated our villa, and we were given a villa with the most breathtaking, mesmerizing view over Carana Beach, a view we simply couldn’t stop staring at. Service was excellent throughout, and a special thank you to the lovely Adrianna. Her daily care, attention, and genuine to help and make everything unforgettable were absolutely flawless. She helped arrange our transfer to Victoria with a wonderful driver and organized our airport transfer as well. We were also incredibly grateful that the staff kindly extended our room free of charge due to a flight delay. The beach is stunning, the ocean view is incredible, the villa was beautiful and fully equipped, the food was good, the pool was gorgeous - everything was perfect and unforgettable. If we ever return to Mahé, Seychelles, we will only stay at Carana Beach again. Highly, highly recommended!

It was our first visit to the Seychelles and we picked the most fantastic location to stay. The Carana Beach Hotel was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is superb, as it is based on Carana Beach, which is a small but beautiful bay flanked by wonderful granite boulders and surrounded by lush gardens and greenery. The team at Carana are professional yet warm and friendly and it has a real family vibe. We were half board and the food was excellent - it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into the design of the menus and Head Chef Marcus is such a warm and friendly person, he went out of his way most days to check we were happy with everything and enjoying our stay. The whole team were attentive, warm and friendly - a shout out in particular to Mercia, Chelsea, Sandra, Danzil, Emelly and Thomas. Our room was well maintained each day - both day and night by Maria and her team. With every member of staff whenever we engaged with them (we didn't get everyone's name), they were always warm, friendly, and helpful. We stayed in a cabana with its own terrace with direct views over the sea - listening to the rolling waves was a real plus both morning and night. We would definitely return to this hotel and stay longer next time. We highly recommend the Carana Beach Hotel.

We stayed here on our second week in the Seychelles. Thr rooms are modern and very comfortable (we never turned the TV on!). The beach is lovely but the waves can be a little frisky. There are plenty of beds around the pool and along the front and the bar makes great coctails with the local rum. We hired a car with driver through the hotel for a day (shout out to Kenneth our driver) and it was well worth it. ending up at the Takamaka distillery for a tasting. The astmospehere is very relaxed with a little more buzz than the Praslin. Breakfast was amazing and dinner was interesting and eclectic. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. We went for massages at the spa which were excellent. my spine felt rejuvinated. Very nice hotel. And the cat is a star.

Wow what a stunning place and location lets start with the people every staff member from reception to the restaurant and house keeping and the gardeners everywhere you went they all smiled and had a laugh with you which makes the difference to the holiday they are all a credit to your company we've been to some stunning places around the world your hotel is in the top three we were away for my wifes birthday I've mentioned your staff apart from one Adrianna what a gem from the moment we arrived till the moment we left she was there for us she arranged my wifes birthday surprise it was excellent from the room to breakfast table and dinner table my wife's face said it all thank you Adrienna so please could you pass on my thanks to everyone

I booked a family dinner for my daughter,s birthday. The experience was amazing starting from the customer service by a lady on the reception name Rania ,she was very nice and helpful. Then we have chef Marcus well known as chef Gato who organised a small family style dinner as it was a creole night. The food and set up was very nice and amazing. Thank you chef Gato and Team and also our waitress Cindy.. The food was very tasty and our small chocolate.❤️❤️

Carana beach is really amazing place. We had so nice welcome and stuff is really frendly. Food is so good, and rooms are clean all the time. Rooms are comfortable. Beach front off the pool was beutiful. We had a great time in Carana beach and we would like to come back again.

We chose Carana Beach Hotel as our wedding venue, and the setting was truly beautiful—an ideal backdrop for such a special occasion. The staff were consistently accommodating, attentive, and did their best to make everything run smoothly. That said, we did encounter an issue with their steaming service for the wedding dress. It wasn’t handled as well as expected, though the team genuinely tried their best to remediate the situation. Overall, we still had a wonderful experience thanks to the stunning location and the dedication of the staff, but we would recommend that the hotel improve their steaming service for future guests.

I’ve been to Carana before but never for the breakfast. So I will start by saying the buffet was amazing and the staff is so nice, I wanna give a shoutout to Lucianna (not sure if I spelled it correctly), as she was so nice to my sister and I - my sister came 2 years ago and she remembered her. As for me she explained the buffet and then took my coffee order. So I really appreciated her professionalism and kindness. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because when I came for lunch last time with my friend they didn’t let us use the sofa-sun-beds. Regardless of more than half of them being free. I think if people come for drinks or lunch they should be allowed to decide whether they wanna sit on chairs or lay on sun beds - regardless of whether they are guests or not. Especially if the hotel isn’t in full capacity.
