CaranaBeach in Glacis

We stayed here on our second week in the Seychelles. Thr rooms are modern and very comfortable (we never turned the TV on!). The beach is lovely but the waves can be a little frisky. There are plenty of beds around the pool and along the front and the bar makes great coctails with the local rum. We hired a car with driver through the hotel for a day (shout out to Kenneth our driver) and it was well worth it. ending up at the Takamaka distillery for a tasting. The astmospehere is very relaxed with a little more buzz than the Praslin. Breakfast was amazing and dinner was interesting and eclectic. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. We went for massages at the spa which were excellent. my spine felt rejuvinated. Very nice hotel. And the cat is a star.

I booked a family dinner for my daughter,s birthday. The experience was amazing starting from the customer service by a lady on the reception name Rania ,she was very nice and helpful. Then we have chef Marcus well known as chef Gato who organised a small family style dinner as it was a creole night. The food and set up was very nice and amazing. Thank you chef Gato and Team and also our waitress Cindy.. The food was very tasty and our small chocolate.❤️❤️

Carana beach is really amazing place. We had so nice welcome and stuff is really frendly. Food is so good, and rooms are clean all the time. Rooms are comfortable. Beach front off the pool was beutiful. We had a great time in Carana beach and we would like to come back again.

I’ve been to Carana before but never for the breakfast. So I will start by saying the buffet was amazing and the staff is so nice, I wanna give a shoutout to Lucianna (not sure if I spelled it correctly), as she was so nice to my sister and I - my sister came 2 years ago and she remembered her. As for me she explained the buffet and then took my coffee order. So I really appreciated her professionalism and kindness. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because when I came for lunch last time with my friend they didn’t let us use the sofa-sun-beds. Regardless of more than half of them being free. I think if people come for drinks or lunch they should be allowed to decide whether they wanna sit on chairs or lay on sun beds - regardless of whether they are guests or not. Especially if the hotel isn’t in full capacity.

A chic boutique hotel) few houses and residents, with a large number of staff. At dinners and breakfasts everything is exquisite and at the proper level. The food is very tasty! Live music plays on Saturdays) the beach is also amazing) I recommend)

This is a well run and super nice boutique hotel a location that is close to paradise. The rooms are modern and very spacious with a large comfortable bed. Shower is good, but not fantastic. The hotel however will fix this and their respons was professional. But let me continue regarding the room: outside there is a seating area with plenty of shade, a daybed and a table. The pool area is wonderfull and the sun beds are very comfortable. They serve a nice lunch and the menu is rich. Dinner is in one word splendid. If you book half board you don’t have this standard buffet most other hotels offer, but a four course dinner with good options. Staff is amazing and alert. If you are looking for a high standard 4 star boutique hotel, don’t look further and book this! Yes it is not 5 star (that we also like) but very charming in its own right. We will go back!

Nice hotel friendly staff, receptiin staff let the side down a bit with reluctance to change currency and lacked local knowledge. The restaurant staff on the other hand were excelkent, food excellent. The rooms/lodges are spacious and private. The pool area was looking tired and dirty in places ( over at the rocks) the beach is nice but hss very big waves and currents expect a few wipe outs during your stay. The local rep arranged to meet us on day 2 and didnt turn up. Not sure its the best value for the price.
