Several guests reported poor cleanliness issues including mold in air conditioning, fungus in showers, and bad odors in towels and bedding. The best I have experienced so far. Very unique, connects a lot with nature, peaceful and beautiful place. The hosts where very friendly and accommodating with both locals and foreigners. Amazing service, great value for money. Shops, beach, bus stop, restaurants are all walking distance. And the locals are very friendly as well. If you are looking for that Peace in Paradise this place is for you. I recommend A*****

What a wonderful place to stay! The garden is beautiful — full of flowers, greenery, and peace. The chalet was spotless and cozy, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning and in the evening was so relaxing, the pool is perfect place to cool off
amongst the greenery. The hosts were warm, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. We loved every moment of our stay and would happily come back again!

It was very bad experience in this place called Peace in Paradise there is only name but nothing else, the place are very dirty l mean fridge, bedding and very bad towels smelling, mold in the air conditioning and the smell from it, fungus in the shower, generally I do not recommend it, very small swimming pool close at 6:30 pm, cut electricity and water more often, In order not to ruin my holiday, I had to move to another hotel, which caused me to incur costs.

I travel a lot and have stayed in many places around the world, but this was by far the worst experience. The host (the owner of the house) was extremely rude and controlling, constantly setting absurd rules for everything — you can only swim in the pool for 30 minutes, and if you take a shower, you must turn off the air conditioner!

The room was tiny, unbearably hot, and felt like a sauna — definitely not worth $125 per night for about 10 square meters. There was no hot water in the shower either. There was also no kitchen or any proper water filter — just a sink in the bathroom, from which she expected us to drink, and all the water she provided came from there.

It’s also the only place in Seychelles that charged a €200 deposit, for absolutely no clear reason.

To make things worse, one night around 10 PM I politely asked the host for some drinking water, since there was none left in the room and all nearby shops were already closed. Instead of helping, she rudely told me off for “waking her up” and said, “Drink tap water if you need it.” She even claimed that all the water provided in the room was just tap water — which is shocking, considering that rule number one in Africa is never to drink tap water. She also added, “You’re not in Europe,” in a very dismissive tone.

Overall, this stay was a complete disappointment. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed in a beautiful bungalow surrounded by a stunning garden – a true little oasis of peace. We especially enjoyed our time at the pool; everything was clean, well-kept, and lovingly designed. The two terraces were also a highlight, perfect for relaxing in the evening.

It’s no big deal to bring your household waste to the bins by the roadside yourself. Recycling of plastic and other materials is taken care of by Erade – great respect for that, as it’s especially important on such a beautiful island.

A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

We spent five nights in the Mango Tree House and had an amazing time. The accommodation super clean and nicely furnished and spacious. We very much enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony, from where we could observe multiple wild birds and animals. The accommodation is situated in a lovely garden with different kinds of trees, flowers and birds. Erade and her son Stephen were very welcoming and made us feel at ease right away. They were both happy to share recommendations on places to visit as well as restaurants/takeaways as well as organizing transfer to and from the accommodation to the airport/ferry.

The property is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The house was comfortable and had a lovely setting in the forest with a small infinity pool next to it. You are surrounded by nature. The owners are very friendly. Stephen went on the spectacular Morne Blanc hike with us.

Superb location on the edge of the tropical forest and less than 10 minutes' walk from a magnificent beach, which was very little used during our week's stay. We stayed in the large chalet with a beautiful fully-equipped terrace, which surrounds the accommodation and overlooks the incredible "garden park" with its tropical plants and trees, as well as most of the birds endemic to the Seychelles. You can see them live their lives, nest, feed... and hear them sing all day long. I took some incredible photos of these birds. It's impossible to see them in the paying nature parks (Vallée de Mai, Fond Ferdinand...). Bernadette and her son are both discreet and attentive to their guests' needs. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable, with no neighbours, apart from the pretty plants. As for the kitchen, all that's missing is a microwave for reheating pre-prepared dishes or takeaways, and possibly a rice cooker for practicality.  Otherwise there's an oven, which we used to cook a delicious red fish known locally as 'bourgeois'. So everything was just about perfect. I really recommend this place for lovers of wild nature and bird/vegetation photography. Pleasure guaranteed
