My stay at Maison Soleil was absolutely wonderful. Andrew is an incredible host, very kind. He made us feel welcome, gave us tips on what to do during our stay. He also gave us delicious fruit.
The room, or rather apartment n°1, is beautiful. It was very clean and cosy. We had every comfort.
I highly recommend this place for your stay in the Seychelles. We preferred the south coast to the north.
We stayed for 4 nights in February 2025.

We've been to Maison Soleil several times and are always very happy with our stay. It was another wonderful time. The location is great, and the accommodation is always nice, with a lot of care and attention to detail. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. Andrew and his team make sure that everything is perfect with their great service and friendly attitude. No matter what issue you might have in this paradise, they are always ready to help and find a solution. This place is always our first choice on this side of the island. It has everything we need to feel comfortable and take care of ourselves. What we especially like is the equipment: a nice outdoor shower, an outdoor kitchen, air conditioning, and a fan for the hot days, plus a small garden with a barbecue – all surrounded by beautiful nature. The location is also amazing. Three beautiful beaches are just a 15-minute walk away, which makes the stay even better. For those who find walking difficult or want to explore more, we recommend having a car. The website answers all your questions. Big thanks to the whole team for their great service.

I'm grateful to TripAdvisor for allowing me to find this great accommodation. I stayed at Maison Soleil for two weeks as I wanted to discover as much as I could about Mahe. Somebody might think I was crazy to stay for two weeks on Mahe but I loved it. I didn't go on any other island as I will be returning to the Seychelles in March to spend three weeks on La Digue, and I will have plenty of time to visit Praslin and all the other little islands. I chose this place as it was affordable, clean and had all the comforts one might need, I didn't care at all about the fact that it was not right on the beach because I was out on excursions every day. I even got lucky with the weather, so if it was raining in the south I would chase the sun in the north of the island. Nearby the guest house there is the beautiful Anse Soleil which is reachable by a short fifteen minute walk. I loved it but the fact that it was always packed with people put me off so I would always go to another beach each day. I arranged through Andrew, the owner, a Creole dinner and it was just fantastic. Andrew is a very nice person, very helpful but never intruding. I also bought some beautiful paintings on silk at his gallery and now they are nicely framed and hanging proudly in my house. This accommodation for me was excellent as my goal was to spend my budget on the excursions rather than a five star hotel. For curiosity just look at what the Four Seasons charges for the night and they are just around the corner. I've been there one day and didn't find the employees to be very nice to the outsiders. They would just tolerate them. The guesthouse also provides you with free internet access but you have to get kind of close to the router as the connection in the room was kind of weak. But, hey we are still in Africa so I can live with that. So to sum it up, if you are looking for luxury and lavish accommodation, this might not be the place for you.

Stayed at the Cinnamon Room for three nights after spending a few days in Praslin. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. Andrew, the owner, put together a handbook with information about the everything nearby - definitely helpful! There are beaches and restaurants within walking distances; Petite Anse at the Four Seasons is definitely worth checking out! Andrew has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything, having lived in the Seychelles for over 20 years. Betty was also very helpful and patient in giving me directions and helping me figure out the bus routes. If you're into art, Andrew has a gallery right next to the guest house and showcases his and other artists' works! We managed to get by without a car for two days; the bus rides were actually quite an experience! One word of advice though, there's little to no street lights, so if you want to walk back to Maison Soleil after dinner or the beach, be sure to have a flashlight handy, unless walking in complete darkness is your thing! Driving to the airport and Victoria would take about an hour, and some good mountain driving skills as the roads are steep, windy, and narrow! Probably one of the best places to stay on Mahe. Highly recommended!

We would highly recommend the Maison Soleil. We have just got back from a 1 week stay in the Vanilla Suite there. Andrew, was extremely helpful and gave us lots of tips etc. The place is really well decorated and well kept. It is very competitively priced. It is located in the South West of the island and only a short walk from 2 beaches. We would definitely recommend hiring a car so that you can see the island more easily. There is a local bus service, but it is a 15minute walk to the main road to pick it up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it.

We stayed at Andrew`s appartment (in the upper floor) with our baby dauhgter Mia and found the place beautifully furnished and with a nice terrace view into the green garden. The appartment is perfect and real good value for money, all the needed euqipment in the small kitchen and nice bathroom, even with a washing machine. Maison Soleil is away from the big streets, therefore quiet and charming and near to the Anse Soleil. It is the perfect choice if you want to explore the island individually and have a car. Then you get also easy to the nicest beach, Anse Intendance, further south. Andrew was a geat host, super friendly and with lots of advices and knowledge about the area. We would definitely stay there again, unless we win in the lottery, then we would go for a private villa in the Banyan Tree Resort... :-)

I would like to thank to Andrew (the owner of the Maison Soleil) for the great time which we had in his apartment during our stay in Seychelles. All the apartmens are so beatiful, very tastfully decorated with all the comfort which travelers need - fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge, toaster, electric kettle), washing machine, DVD player, air condition, large terrace, every day cleaning, fresh fruit... warm and helpful staff. We loved to stay there because of the romantic interior, cleaness and fantastic atmosphere. The main house is next to the gallery where are great works of Andrew, who is an artist and designer. I would recommed this accommodation to everyone !

Great location to the southwest beaches of Mahé. Walk or drive to Anse Soleil and snorkel around the rocks at low tide for the best visibility.

A warm welcome and superb accommodation in a quiet, tropical setting with the most stunning beach (Anse Soleil) just a 10 minute walk down the hill .... we had truly arrived in paradise! (The walk back up the hill from the beach does take longer than 10 minutes, it is quite steep). Maison Soleil is beautifully kept & very comfortable. Filtered water is always available. The apartments have privacy. The gardens are neat and tidy. To stay at Maison Soleil is to experience the most relaxing holiday. Will be back!!

For the first time ever, I can say that I was happy to part with money in a casino. It's small, spotless, chilled (go in shorts) and has the most amazing friendly staff. Loved it!
