Hotels on first line in Mahe

The south feels wild, the east for beaches (we loved grand anse snd port launay) and fun with the waves, the west for snorkeling (anse royale) and the north (beauvallon) for people! Thank you Vivienne, Basil and Shane for being such great hosts!!!!!

The villa is conveniently located near a beach, restaurants, a shop, and a bus stop. The grounds are lovely, and the room is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The staff are very responsive. Excellent value for money.

Villa Caballero went above and beyond throughout my stay. The accommodation is spacious, clean, comfortable and close to the beach, restaurants and shops

The accommodation has a pool around and is a good size for little ones. It has a shallow end , which makes it did friendly. Gates accommodation making it safe with children. I would def stop here again

Villa Caballero is a beautiful and serene property located near Turtle Bay, close to Anse Royale Beach. This side of Mahé offers a peaceful escape compared to the bustling city area

I had the option of using the outdoor pool with a barbeque area and large sitting area, too. I will highly recommend this accommodation to anyone

The beach at Surfer’s is lovely too, I went there early in the morning for a swim, then there is a low tide good for snorkeling and you can swim again in the afternoon. There are good waves for surfers sometimes

The beach restaurant is another bonus to the stay - great service, delicious food for good price. We recommend hiring a car to be able to explore other parts and beaches of the Island

Had a superb 5 night stay in July with my wife and daughter. Spotlessly clean and beautifully located. The almost empty beach was just a few metres away. We had everything we needed to self cater

We are repeat guests at Surfer’s chalets and this 2-week stay was a bliss again. The owners and the staff are all very helpful and caring

The bungalows are cleaned every day except for Sundays, with towels changed regularly incl. You can enjoy lovely sunrise just from your terrace and well-kept garden around

Always ready to help, smiling and doing it sincerely. Modern houses with all appliances: kettle, microwave, iron, hair dryer, stove, refrigerator, washing machine, TV. Everything is new and stylish

We had an incredible stay in Mahé! The accommodation was spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located for exploring both the beaches and the local villages

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and a balcony where I could enjoy my morning coffee inside nature. The host was exceptionally welcoming

There was even food in fridge for the first day. The bungalow has 2 rooms, which is very convenient. Large terrace with dining and seating area. There are bright beautiful flowers in the garden

Breakfast is in under the canopy in the garden, we did not mind it. It is a communal affair, but then again you can still have your own space. We found the pool refreshing after a long day in the sun

Very hard to summarise what a perfect gem of a find the place is. Its super clean, very comfortable and very much home from home directly opposite gorgeous quiet tranquil beach

Some sections at the beach to the left (north) are signalled as dangerous, owing to seasonal rip currents but there is another one farther north absolutamente wonderful

The stay at Villa Koket was fabulous. I have nothing but words of gratitude. The staff is super friendly, and the house is spotless. It's very well located next to the beach, large and spacious, and fully equipped

They clean the house, provide beach towels, and on the day of arrival, they welcomed us with a traditional drink and left water, juice, and coffee in the apartment

A great place to stay, convenient public transportation to the city, daily housekeeping, nice walks on the area

Lilot Beach Chalets is the Paradise. You have a amazing private Beach with a incredible view on the sea. The Chalets are perfect and you have everything what you need for cooking and living

Located right on a beautiful, small, and quiet beach. The place is a bit isolated and somewhat far from the main tourist spots, but since the island itself isn’t large, I didn’t find that to be a problem at all

Utterly spectacular location, right ON the beach and the most beautiful beach we found on Mahé as well. The chalet is huge and beautiful and we had everything we needed. So sad to leave!

The beachfront chalet is spacious, simple, but equipped with everything you need: a bedroom with air conditioning, a living room, a kitchen, and a large bathroom

This is a very beautiful place, very good service, if I tell the truth I would live here for at least a year ,there is a vert cute dog and cat , they are very friendly and i already miss them 😂And besides, there is Cooking stuff, there are pots and pans, an electric kettle, a coffee machine, Washing machine, dryer, large refrigerator and overall a perfect place and I highly recommend it, we were here...

Fantastic! We took full advantage of swimming and snorkeling most of the day. Clean, spacious, comfortable. We used the grilled and rented the kyak. Owen is very accommodating & friendly as well as his helpers

A car is fairly essential, there is little within walking distance, and it would be a shame to miss the other beautiful beaches. Apparently, there is a good local bus service

Beach cottages on the south eastern part of the Mahe island. We spent there 8 nights in October as a couple

The residence is very quiet through the whole day and night. The spacious garden is nice and we used it to sun bath on the sun beds (which are not allowed on the beach itself for turtle protection reasons)

There are some nice locations for snorkeling, with colorful and interesting sea life. The sea itself was mostly quiet (October) with very low waves, but still quite platto in its first few dozen meters

Just 20 meters away (or slightly more if you take the rear family cottages), front line to the cottage door. It is mostly empty, with mostly the residence guests or local fishermen or just other bypassers (rare)

Brigitte the host is extremely nice and helpful. She was very kind to assist us in everything we wanted to do in the island - e. g book a tour and coordinate everything

The place was great for me and my family of 5.With in house 24hrs attendant catering for all your needs.Its a great place for family weekend.I would recommend Bayview to anyone and you will never regret the choice.

Kitchen, utensils, BBQ, airco’s and fans, it’s al there, very well maintained and clean. There is a supermarket and a beautiful beach next door. Gervais is more than happy to take care of all requests, the perfect host

We had an amazing stay at Villa kordia. the owner (fadette &his wife) is really nice. This Villa has a beautiful garden with lots of good fruit. and beach is near by from the villa. on walking distance of 3 minutes

Perfect location. Close to the beach which is good for snorkeling. Easy to reach all points on the island. Great hosts. Highly recommend!

We even liked the nearest beach - with the low tide it was perfect for our kids to play in, with the high tide for us to swim in

Gervais and Fadette were extremely helpful from arranging tours and transfers or doing our laundry to organizing a fantastic barbecue in the garden after our wedding ceremony

We chose Villa Kordia for our wedding stay and it was simply great. The villas were spacious, well equipped and maintained. The tropical garden around was gorgeous

It is close to Two wonderful Sand beaches with snorkeling options and calm Sea for our Baby to chill in the water. The Pool is Well temperated and our Small doughter felt Really well inside

The pool is a big plus! But most of all the host is super helpful and friendly, you can ask her anything, the rooms get cleaned most of the days and you get a perfect service. Anse Royal is great to discover the Island

Best place to stay while in Mahe, location couldn't be better, very close to everything yet feels remote and private. Lovely size swimming pool, and the chalet itself it's very well equipped for a long stay

5**** stay with a fantastic host Lise, who will do anything to make your stay memorable. She even cooked free food for us and all the other guests. We all ended up having a great and very social night together

Lisa was amazing host, very communicative and helpful. If you're looking for a nice to place to stay in Mahe then you found it, our stay it was sublime to say the least

Nature is all around you and peaceful sounds of the jungle carry you to sleep and softly wake you up. I can wholeheartedly recommend if you are able to self cater

Lacked air conditioning In the main living area of our 2 bedroom area. Host was excellent and very accommodating with excellent communication. Pool is a lot smaller than the images on their website.

Been there for two separate stints, the first 3 nights of my stay and the very last night. The rooms are vary spacious and offer a kitchen too, alongside the bedroom and the bathroom (my last one also had a living room)

Lovely partment, really nice pool, good location, very nice, helpful people. The grounds are nice, fruit bats flying everywhere. We hired a car and used it quite abit, as there are no footpaths on the road

The staff is friendly and helpful and there are some cute and friendly pets around (4 giant tortoises, a cute fluffy cat and a chubby doggo)

I had a great view from all rooms inside the apartment and I even had a private terrace area! There is a pool available for use anytime, plus they have Aldabra tortoises and you can feed them and take pics to your hearts content! There is also a free snooker table and table football/foosball to play in the reception area! The staff are super friendly, helpful and attentive

The lodge is in a good location near to the airport and various beaches

They have a no cooking policy so if you want to cook this is not the place for you. It’s very close to the airport and it has a good location to drive to all beaches in the south of Mahe

Uber clean, spacious and well-run accommodation. Tasty breakfast, kind staff willing to go the extra mile to help guests feel like home. Excellent if you have a car, also handy if you use the bus. Absolutely recommended.

Absolutely mamazing property with very helpful owners. Great view on the Ocean from the terrace. Every room has its own bathroom. Bus stop just few minutes walk from the house. Simpy amazing! I very much recommend!!!

A nice place to stay close to the airport Pro: - amazing views (you can even hear the waves breaking) - very nice owners - parking - clean (besides the usual ants that you can't avoid on this island) Con: - kitchen and living space seem to be shared (we were by ourselves) - kitchen is not supposed to be used - the room were rather functional
